Double time after 2 hours of overtime or all work on Satur- day and Sunday. Meal allowance: For every 4 hours of overtime worked, meal will be provided. Where adequate meals cannot be pro- vided, $25 will be included in next regular pay. Medical benefits: Employer contributes $2.30 per hour to benefits plan. Pension: Employer contributes $6 per hour (previously $5.75 per hour) to pension plan. Call-in pay: Paid at applicable overtime rate, minimum 2 hours. Travel time if applicable will be paid. Uniforms/clothing: Rainwear will be supplied to employees as required. Employer will pro- vide gloves on all jobs, where employee is working on metal mesh or other metal. Employer will provide approved hard hats and gloves on major-industrial projects. Tool allowance: Each employee shall equip himself with complete set of tools suit- able to profession that will be employee's property. Employees will be furnished with tools on all foam-glass jobs or compen- sation will be paid by employer to replace worn tools from operations on foam-glass jobs. Mileage: $0.55 per kilometre for travel within 45 kilometres of intersection of highways 101 and 102. No travel will be paid until employee has travelled more than 45 kilometres from employee's home to job site by shortest available, Department of Transportation maintained, normally travelled route. FOOD MANUFACTURING Old Dutch Foods Calgary (189 technicians, operators, drivers, maintenance employees) and the United Food and Commercial Workers Canada (UFCW), Local 401 Renewal agreement: Effective March 18, 2018, to March 19, 2022. Ratified on June 13, 2018. Signed on June 13, 2018. Shift premium: $0.75 per hour (previously $0.70 per hour) (excluding employees classified as driver 2) for all hours on afternoon shift. $1.35 per hour (previously $1.30 per hour) for all hours on midnight shift. Paid holidays: 11 days. Vacations with pay: 2, 4, 6 or 8 days (4-day work weeks) or 3, 5, 8 or 10 days (5-day work week) to start, 2 weeks after 2 years, 3 weeks after 4 years, 4 weeks after 10 years. Overtime: Time and one-half for all work in excess of daily or weekly hours. Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums for Alberta Health Care. $350 per year for health-care spending account Dental: 80% coverage for basic dental care. 80% coverage for major care. Vision: $200 every 2 years Weekly indemnity: Employer pays 100% of premiums for coverage of 70% of earnings to maximum established by Em- ployment Insurance, maximum 26 weeks AD&D: Coverage of $45,000 (previously $40,000). Life insurance: Coverage of $45,000 (previously $40,000). Pension: Employer will con- tribute $0.80 per hour (previ- ously $0.75 per hour) on behalf of all employees to group RSP. Bereavement leave: 4 days for death in immediate family (spouse, same-sex partner, common-law partner, parent, child, brother, sister, steppar- ents). 2 days for death of other member of family (stepsister, stepbrother, mother-in-law, father-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, grandmother, grandfather, grandchild, com- mon-law child). Probationary period: 60 days worked. 45 days worked for cur- rent employees when entering new classification. Severance: 1 week with less than 2 years of service; 2 weeks after 2 years of service; 4 weeks after 4 years of service; 5 weeks after 6 years of service; 6 weeks after 8 years of service; 8 weeks after 10 years of service. Safety shoes: Effective March 17, 2019: $135 per year (previ- ously $125 per year) for safety shoes; $75 per year (previously $70 per year) for safety rubber boots. Uniforms/clothing: Uniforms will be worn by employees and will be provided by employer. Employer will provide uniforms with uniform supplier who will launder and repair clothing as necessary. Employer will pro- vide hairnets to employees. Tool allowance: Effective March 17, 2019: Employer will pay $50 per year (previously $45 per year) small-tool allowance for PMO/PO level 1 employ- ees; $140 per year (previously $140 per year) for all PMO/PO employees greater than level 1; $150 per year for all mainten- ance levels. Mileage: Semi-driver (prairie per-mile rate): $0.543 rising 4 steps to $0.59. Semi-driver (mountain rate for miles driven in B.C. only): $0.564 rising 4 steps to $0.61 Sample rates of hourly pay (current, after 5.3% increase): Entry level: $18.52 rising 4 steps to $19.51 Regular part-time manufactur- ing technician: $20.60 rising 4 steps to $21.70
