Call-in pay: Minimum of 3 hours' pay at overtime rates. Probationary period: 3 months or 550 hours, depend- ing on employee classifications. Discipline: Sunset clause is 2 years. Employer may only de- fine longer period after major incidents related to: workplace health and safety, workplace substance abuse, theft or fraud, workplace bullying or harass- ment or human-rights offenses. Safety shoes: After 12 months of service, employees will be re- imbursed for 100% of purchase cost of approved safety boots, maximum $200. Reimburse- ment may be accumulated, maximum $300 over 2 years of service. Uniforms/clothing: Employer will provide all employees (ex- cept for clerical staff ) with 2 pairs of coveralls at commence- ment of employment. Employ- ees will do own cleaning and maintenance of coveralls and will be provided with replace- ment coveralls as required. Employees who require winter coveralls will be provided with 1 pair upon request and will be provided with replacement cov- eralls as required. Employer will pay $100 clothing allowance, on first pay day in July, to all motor- grader operators, truck drivers. Tool allowance: $100 per month (previously $75 per month) for mechanics who sup- ply own hand tools.
