Shift premium: $0.65 per hour for all hours worked during Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 2 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., if 50% or more of hours worked falls within premium hours. $0.75 per hour for all hours worked during Mon- day, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 10 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., if 50% or more of hours worked falls within premium hours. $0.80 per hour for all hours worked during Saturday and Sunday at 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., if 50% or more of hours worked falls within premium hours. $1.05 per hour for all hours worked during Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., if 50% or more of hours worked falls within pre- mium hours. $1.10 per hour for all hours worked during Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 10 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., if 50% or more of hours worked falls within premium hours. $1.50 for all hours worked when employer appoints employee to provide leadership to fellow coworkers. Paid holidays: 10 days, plus 1 floater day (must be used by June 23 each year, cannot be carried over into following year). Vacations with pay: 2 weeks or 4% after 1 year, 3 weeks or 6% after 5 years, 4 weeks or 8% after 10 years, 5 weeks or 10% after 18 years. Overtime: Time and one-half for all work other than regular scheduled hours per day or per week or for work on scheduled day of rest. Medical benefits: Employee will contribute 1.5% for family coverage, 1% for full single coverage, 0.5% for partial single coverage. Paramedical: $500 combined maximum per year for massage therapy, chiropractic. Sick leave: 30 hours per year. Unused hours will be paid out at end of each anniversary year of agreement. Pension: Employer will con- tribute $58 per week (previ- ously $54 per week) for each employee to designated pension plan. Effective June 23, 2019: $62 per week. Bereavement leave: 5 days for death in immediate family (parent, stepparent, spouse, child, brother, sister); 3 days if employee unable to attend funeral. 2 days for death of grandparents, grandchildren. 1 day for death of mother-in-law, father in-law, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, brother-in-law, sis- ter in-law. Seniority – recall rights: Min- imum 6 months, up to period equal to seniority at date of lay- off, maximum 12 months. Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours of work or pay in lieu of work. Probationary period: 120 cal- endar days. Discipline: Sunset clause is 12 months; 24 months for disci- pline for harassment or work- place violence. Severance: 3 weeks per year of service, maximum 52 weeks. Safety shoes: As condition of employment, all employees must wear safety shoes at all times while on duty. Employer will pay full cost of safety shoes, after probationary period. There will be no limit on max- imum number of pairs of shoes. Uniforms/clothing: Employer will issue uniform sets at start of permanent employment. 1 par- ka will be issued where required and will be personally mono- grammed for each employee.
