Vacations with pay: 1 hour per 25 hours worked, maximum 80 hours, after 240 hours; 1 hour per 16.67 hours worked, maximum 120 hours, after 5 years; 1 hour per 12.5 hours worked, maximum 160 hours, after 10 years; 1 hour per 10 hours worked, maximum 200 hours, after 19 years. Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week. Meal allowance: $10 (previ- ously $9) if employee works more than 10 hours in 1 shift. Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums for coverage of $35,000 on 80%- 20% co-pay basis. Dental: Employees will receive 80%-20% co-pay preventative plan which includes checkups, cleaning, fillings, extractions, X-rays, root canals, periodon- tal and endodontic services, maximum $1,000 per family member per year. Vision: $175 per 2-year period. Additional $50 per 2-year period may be used for prescription safety glasses for employees only. Weekly indemnity: Employer pays 100% of premiums. AD&D: Employer pays 100% of premiums for coverage of $35,000. Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums for coverage of $35,000. Bereavement leave: 3 days for death of spouse, common-law partner, child, parent, brother, sister, stepparent, common-law parent, father-in-law, mother- in-law, stepchild, common-law child, grandchild, grandpar- ent, relative who resides with employee), after 3 months of service. Seniority – recall rights: 18 months to start; 24 months after 25 months of service. Call-in pay: 4 hours at over- time rates. Probationary period: 90 days worked. Paid holidays: 12 days, plus 1 float holiday. Sick leave: 2 working days per month, maximum 90 days accumulation. After third day of illness per year, employer reserves the right to require medical documentation before paying sick-leave benefits. Employees will be reimbursed for cost of documentation, maximum $50. LTD: Employer pays 100% of premiums. Pension: Local Authorities Pension Plan. Bereavement leave: 4 days for death of parent, spouse, com- mon-law spouse, sibling, child, mother-in-law, father-in-law, grandchild, former guardian, fiancé(e), son-in-law, daughter- in-law, grandparent, step-rela- tions, any relative who has been residing in same household, any other individual for whom em- ployee is required to administer bereavement responsibilities. 3 days for death of sister-in law, brother-in-law, aunt, uncle, niece, nephew. Additional 2 days if needed for travel. Additional 5 days may be given with partial loss of pay. Seniority – recall rights: 1 year. Call-in pay: Minimum of 3 hours at overtime rates. Probationary period: 90 days worked, not to exceed 10 months. Discipline: Sunset clause is 24 months.
