Seniority – recall rights: Time equivalent to one-half length of seniority, after 90 days of ser- vice; time equivalent to length of seniority but not more than 2 years, after 1 year of service. Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours' pay at regular rate. Probationary period: 720 hours of work. Severance: Employer will provide separation allowance, if plant is permanently closed: $370 after 1 year of service; $490 after 2 years of service; $635 after 3 years of service; $800 after 4 years of service; $1,000 after 5 years of service; $1,200 after 6 years of service; $1,410 after 7 years of service; $1,625 after 8 years of service; $1,840 after 9 years of service; $2,060 after 10 years of service. Safety shoes: $170 reimburse- ment (previously $165) for CSA-approved safety footwear, maximum 2 pairs per year. Employer will provide rubber boots to employees who require them. Uniforms/clothing: Employer will provide to employees all WHMIS/HACCP required personal protective equipment, such as wetsuits. $16 reim- bursement for employees who purchase quilted vest or liner through company for use on job, once every 3 years. Tool allowance: $100 per year per employee for maintenance mechanics, packaging, fryer operators for required tools broken on job and worn out. Unused portion, maximum $100, may be carried over into following year.
