Wage adjustments: (For employees earning more than $16.38 per hour) Effective year 1: 3% Effective year 2: 3% Effective year 3: 3% Shift premium: $1.75 per hour (previously $1.25 per hour) for leads. $3 per hour (previously $2 per hour) for operations agents. $1 per hour for tempor- ary instructors. $2 per hour for baggage agents. $2.25 per hour for flight coordinators. $2 for ticketing. $0.45 per hour for shifts commencing on or after 10 p.m. up to and including 4 a.m. Paid holidays: 10 days. Vacations with pay: 1 day per month, maximum 10 days, or 4% to start, 2 weeks or 4% af- ter 1 year, 3 weeks or 6% after 5 years, 4 weeks or 8% after 10 years. Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week. May be placed into overtime bank, maximum 120 hours at any one time. Maximum 40 hours may be carried over into following year. Medical benefits: Employer will provide basic coverage under British Columbia Med- ical Plan. Employer pays 50% of premiums, employee pays 50% of premiums after 24 months of service. Dental: Employer pays 50% of premiums, employee pays 50% of premiums after 60 months of service. Vision: Employer pays 50% of premiums, employee pays 50% of premiums after 60 months of service for coverage of $300 every 24 months; $25 every 24 months for eye examina- tions. Sick leave: 5 days per year, paid at 75% of day's wages, after 1 year of service. Unused cred- its may be accumulated and carried over to following year, maximum 10 days or at employ- ee's option be paid out at 75% at end of each calendar year. STD: Employer pays 75% of premiums, employee pays 25% of premiums after 60 months of service for coverage of 75% of weekly earnings. AD&D: Employer pays 50% of premiums, employee pays 50% of premiums after 60 months of service for coverage of $50,000. Life insurance: Employer pays 50% of premiums, employee pays 50% of premiums after 60 months of service for cover- age of $50,000. Pension: Employer will match employee contributions to RRSP, maximum $50 per month after 2 years of service. On Dec. 31 each year, employees may transfer money from hourly overtime bank into RRSP as ex- tra voluntary contribution. Bereavement leave: 3 days for death in immediate family (par- ent, spouse, child, brother, sis- ter, father or mother of spouse, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, grandparents, grandchildren of employee and spouse). 2 additional days for death of spouse, parent, child. Addition- al 14 days without pay if death occurs outside Canada. Seniority – recall rights: 24 months. Call-in pay: Minimum of 4 hours paid at appropriate overtime rate. Probationary period: 120 cal- endar days. Discipline: Sunset clause is 1 year. Severance: 4 days' pay for each year of service, maximum 48 days' pay. Safety shoes: Employer will provide $110 every 24 months for CSA-approved safety shoes for flight ops and baggage agents. Re-con agents will be provided with CSA-approved toe-cap when required. Uniforms/clothing: Employ- er will provide CSA standard hearing protection for each em- ployee who performs duties on ramp or at bridges. Employer will provide 1 complete uni- form to all new hires (2 jackets, 4 skirts or pants, 5 shirts, 2 ties or rosettes, 1 overcoat supplied on a 50/50 cost share basis). Employer will provide max- imum 2 maternity jumpers for required period of pregnancy.
