Paid holidays: 10 days, plus 2 floating holidays, 1 of which will be in lieu of Heritage Day. Vacations with pay: 2 weeks or 5% after 1 year, 3 weeks or 7% after 2 years, 4 weeks or 9% after 7 weeks, 5 weeks or 11% after 15 years, 6 weeks or 13% after 24 years, 7 weeks or 15% after 30 years. Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, on Sun- day, on employee's designated 2 days of rest. Double time for all work after 11 hours per day, all hours worked on Sunday by employees who have worked 5 shifts during preceding 6 days, all work after 12 hours per day of 12-hour shifts. Meal allowance: Hot meal or $15 payroll credit when em- ployee is notified during normal shift that they will be required to work 2 or more hours over- time beyond shift. Dental: Employer pays 100% of premiums for coverage of 80% of approved Alberta schedule for basic; 60% of approved Alberta schedule for prosthet- ics crowns and bridges; 60% of approved Alberta schedule for orthodontic, maximum $4,000. Participation in plan is condi- tion of employment. Vision: $400 per member or dependent in any 24-month period for lenses and frames, contact lenses, corrective eye surgery when prescribed by person legally qualified to make such prescription, eye exams. Weekly indemnity: Coverage of 60% of weekly rate, maxi- mum $1,100 per week. LTD: Employer pays 50% of premiums, employee pays 50% of premiums for coverage of 60% of gross monthly earnings, maximum $4,500 per month. AD&D: $120,000 coverage (previously $110,000). Life insurance: Coverage is condition of employment for new employees. $120,000 cov- erage (previously $110,000). Bereavement leave: 3 days for death in immediate family (spouse, mother, father, broth- ers, sisters, sons, daughters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, mother-in-law, father-in-law, stepparents, grandparents, grandparents-in-law, grand- children, sisters-in-law, broth- ers-in-law, stepchildren, legal guardian). Seniority – recall rights: 6 months to start; 1 year plus 1 month per year of service, maximum 6 months, after 1 year of service. 180 days if employee has been transferred to staff position. Call-in pay: Minimum of 3 hours at time and one-half or work on designated day off, Sunday, statutory holiday, or af- ter having left plant after work- ing regular shift. Probationary period: 30 work- ing days within 90 calendar days. Discipline: Sunset clause is 12 months. Severance: 1 week's pay per year of service, maximum 30 weeks' pay. Safety shoes: $200 per year for CSA-approved safety-toed footwear. Uniforms/clothing: Employer will provide aprons, hard hats and liners, eye, ear and nose protective equipment, safety pants (yard buckers). Employer will provide rain suits to em- ployees working on hydraulics or water lines. Tool allowance: Employer will provide insurance, with $50 deductible, for damage or loss caused by fire, flood or theft.
