Effective 2020: 1% lump-sum payment payable by April 15, 2020, based on hours worked between April 1, 2019, and March 31, 2020. Shift premium: $6 per hour if there are no other counsel- lors and counsellor works shift alone (excluding rest periods, shift changes, medical appoint- ments). $1.75 per hour for em- ployees working night shift or employees who extend regular shift and work any portion of night shift. Paid holidays: 12 days, plus 1 additional floater holiday. Vacations with pay: 3 weeks or 120 hours after 1 year, 4 weeks or 160 hours after 5 years, 5 weeks or 200 hours after 9 years, 6 weeks or 240 hours after 16 years. Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week. Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums for Alberta health care. Dental: Employer pays 100% of premiums. Sick leave: 8 hours per month worked, maximum 96 hours per year. 32 hours of unused leave may be carried forward into next year. 40 hours per year per- sonal wellness leave after 1 year of service. LTD: Employee pays 100% of premiums. AD&D: Employer pays 100% of premiums. Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums. Pension: After probation, em- ployer will make per-year de- posits into RRSP account: $600 for year 1; $630 for year 2; $660 for year 3; $690 for year 4; $720 for year 5; $750 for year 6; $780 for year 7; $810 for year 8; $840 for year 9; $870 for year 10; $900 for year 11; $930 for year 12; $960 for year 13; $990 for year 14; $1,020 for year 15. Bereavement leave: 3 days for death of spouse, common-law partner, parents, children of employee or spouse (including daughter-in-law, son-in-law, mother-in-law, father-in-law), siblings, grandchildren, grand- parents. 1 day for death in extended family (aunt, uncle, niece, nephew, first cousin). Ad- ditional leave, with or without pay, may be granted if request- ed. One-half day to attend fu- neral of another union member who has passed, as pallbearer or mourner. Seniority – recall rights: 24 months. Probationary period: 480 hours worked. Discipline: Sunset clause is 12 months. Mileage: $0.55 per kilometre for employees who use own vehicle at employer's request.
