Wage adjustments: Effective anniversary date of collective agreement signing: 2% Paid holidays: 9 days, plus 2 floating personal paid holi- days every year. Vacations with pay: 2 weeks or 4% after 1 year, 3 weeks or 6% after 4 years. Medical benefits: Employer pays 60%, employee pays 40% of health and welfare monthly pre- miums. Employer will remit full costs, applicable taxes, of any government-sponsored health insurance program as required by province of Ontario. Dental: 80% for basic/preventa- tive, endodontic/periodontics, oral surgery, prosthodontics removable. 50% for major re- storative, fixed prosthodontics. $2,000 maximum per year. $12.50 per visit, maximum $250 per year for physiotherapist. $400 per year for licensed clinical psychologist, speech therapist. Vision: $300 every 24 months ($300 every 12 months for dependants younger than 18) for lenses/frames, prescribed eyeglasses, contacts, sunglasses or laser eye surgery for adults. $50 once every 24 months for eye exams. Paramedical: $200 per year maximum for chiropractor, na- turopath, osteopath, podiatrist, Christian scientist, practitioner, chiropractor, podiatrist after OHIP. $25 per year maximum for X-rays. Sick leave: All employees will be entitled to 10 personal emergency leave days per year. Personal emergency leave days can be used to attend doctor's appointment if appointment is because of illness, injury, medical emergency or urgent matters. AD&D: Coverage of $50,000. Life insurance: Coverage of $50,000. Pension: Employer pays 60%, employee pays 40% of premi- ums for Ontario Teamsters Benefit Plan Trust Fund. Effec- tive Nov. 1, 2019: $250 plus RST (retail sales tax) per member (employee) per month. Effec- tive Nov. 1, 2020: $262.50 plus RST per member per month. Bereavement leave: After 3 months of service, 3 days for death in immediate family (fa- ther, mother, spouse, grandpar- ents, grandchild, child, brother, sister, mother-in-law, father- in-law, common-law partner). Should more time be required for any reason relating to death, leave of absence will not be un- reasonably withheld. Seniority – recall rights: 12 consecutive months; 2 years for medical leaves. Call-in pay: Minimum of 4 hours' pay at regular straight- time hourly rate or time and one-half for all hours worked, whichever is greater. Probationary period: 60 actual days worked. INFRASTRUCTURE SERVICES Aluma Systems Edmonton (30 general workers) and the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America (UBC), Local 2010 Renewal agreement: Effec- tive May 1, 2018, to April 30, 2021 Ratified on May 14, 2018. Signed on May 30, 2018. Wage adjustments: Effective May 1, 2018: 1.5% Effective May 1, 2019: 1.75% Effective May 1, 2020: 1.75% Shift premium: $2 per hour for each hour between noon and 4 a.m. for minimum of 2 con- secutive work days. $2 per hour for operating forklift when em- ployee is requested to take fork- lift training (employees will be on probation for 2 weeks while taking initial training). $3 per hour when employees work outside of main yard. $3 per hour for lead-hands; $1.50 per hour for temporary lead-hands. $2 per hour for designated fork- lift drivers. Paid holidays: 11 days. Vacations with pay: 2 weeks af- ter 1 year, 3 weeks after 4 years, 4 weeks after 11 years, 5 weeks after 21 years. Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 8 or 10 hours per day, double time after 12 hours. Time and one-half for all work on Saturday. Double time for all work on Sunday.
