Sample rates of hourly pay (current, after 4% increase): Drivers: $17.72 rising 2 steps to $18.44 Sample rates of per-kilometre pay (current, after 4% in- crease): Drivers: $0.3287 rising 2 steps to $0.3420 Editor's notes: Medical examinations: Employees will be paid for actual time lost beccause of taking medical examination and will be reimbursed for any charges or fees connected with such examination. Physical test will be reimbursed, maximum $75. Travel expenses: $50 in meal money to drivers who are away from home terminal overnight unless employer arranges other suitable lodging. On day of return from overnight trip, should employee arrive at home terminal later than 6 a.m., driver will be paid $25 in meal money. Should employee arrive at home terminal later than 2 p.m., driver will be paid $50 in meal money. Cellphones: If driver installs and activates own portable cellphone in company truck, employer will pay $45 for life of agreement. If employee incurs higher bill than $45 for company use, employer will reimburse amount above $45. Ratified on Feb. 13, 2019. Signed on April 5, 2019. (First agreement.) Wage adjustments: Effective Jan. 1, 2019: 1.5% Effective April 1, 2020: 2% Shift premium: $2.75 per hour for all work between 3 p.m. and 11 p.m. $3 per hour for all work between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. $2.75 per hour for all work in 64-hour period from 3 p.m. on Friday until 7 a.m. on Monday. Paid holidays: 11 days Vacations with pay: 75 hours after 1 year, 112.5 hours after 3 years, 150 hours after 6 years, 187.5 hours after 15 years. Pension: After 6 months worked or 957 hours, which- ever is greater, employer will match employee contributions, maximum 3%, into employer- administered, employee self- directed, RRSP. Bereavement leave: 4 days for death in immediate family (spouse (common-law, same- sex relationship), child, parent, brother, brother-in-law, sister, sister-in-law, mother-in-law, father-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandparent, grandchild, guardian, fiancé, stepparent, stepchildren, step- brother, stepsister). 2 additional paid days in extenuating cir- cumstances, plus 2 additional unpaid days in extenuating cir- cumstances. 1 day for death of another relative, close friend.
