Paid holidays: 10 days. Vacations with pay: For em- ployees hired before Jan. 1, 2013: 10 days or 4% after 1 year, 15 days or 6% after 5 years, 20 days or 8% after 10 years, 25 days or 10% after 15 years. For employees hired after Jan. 1, 2013: 10 days or 4% after 1 year, 15 days or 6% after 5 years, 20 days or 8% after 10 years. Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 8 or 10 hours per day or 40 hours per week. Time and one-half for first 4 hours on scheduled day of rest, double time thereafter. Employees may be required to work maximum 5 hours' mandatory overtime per week. May be accumulated, maximum 30 hours of overtime. Meal allowance: $7 if employ- ee works more than 2 hours of overtime continuous with regu- lar shift on less than 24 hours' advance notice. Bereavement leave: 3 days for death in immediate fam- ily (mother, father, brother, sister, wife, husband, children, common-law spouse, stepchil- dren, stepparent, grandparents, grandchildren). 1 day to attend funeral for death of mother-in- law, father-in-law, brother-in- law, sister-in-law. Seniority – recall rights: 18 months. Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours' pay at time and one-half. Probationary period: 90 actual days worked. Discipline: Sunset clause is 24 months. Severance: 1 week's pay for each year of service, maximum 10 weeks, for employees with 2 years of service, who are termi- nated due to permanent closure of whole or any part of plant. Safety shoes: $140 per year (previously $135 per year) for CSA-approved safety boots.
