Vacations with pay: 4% of hours paid, maximum 80 hours, to start; 6% of hours paid, max- imum 120 hours, after 2 years; 8% of hours paid, maximum 160 hours, after 5 years; 10% of hours paid, maximum 200 hours, after 9 years. Employee may carry forward hours to following year, maximum 40 hours. $1 for all hours between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 8 hours per day or 80 hours biweekly. May be taken as time off in lieu. Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums. Dental: Employer pays 100% of premiums. Vision: Employer pays 100% of premiums. Paramedical: Employer pays 100% of premiums. LTD: Coverage of 70% of salary, maximum $6,000 per month. Pension: Employer contributes 5%, employee contributes 3% to pension plan (money purchase plan). Bereavement leave: 4 sched- uled shifts for death of parent, stepparent, spouse, com- mon-law spouse, life-partner, child, stepchild, father-in-law, mother-in-law, brother, sister, grandchild. 3 scheduled shifts for death of ward of employee, relative residing in employee's household. 1 scheduled shift for death of son-in-law, daughter- in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in- law, aunt, uncle niece, nephew, grandparent or for attending fu- neral as pallbearer or confirmed memorial service. 2 additional scheduled shifts for funeral or confirmed memorial service with distance more than 250 kilometres each way. Seniority – recall rights: 24 months. Probationary period: 6 months. Discipline: Sunset clause is 12 months for verbal or writ- ten disciplinary documents; 18 months for suspensions. Severance: 1 week's pay for each year of service, maximum 15 weeks. Safety shoes: $175 per year (previously $150 per year) for CSA-approved protective foot- wear. May be carried over into following year, maximum $350. Uniforms/clothing: Employer will provide all employees, whose work requires them to wear pro- tective devices, with necessary tools, equipment, protective clothing required including foot- wear, safety glasses. These will be maintained and replaced, where necessary, at employer's expense. Mileage: $0.41 per kilometre (previously $0.40 per kilometre) for up to 12,000 kilometres per year; $0.33 per kilometre (pre- viously $0.32 per kilometre) for more than 12,000 kilometres per year; $0.22 per kilometre (previ- ously $0.21 per kilometre) for use of privately owned vehicle.
