Employer will pay $200 per month dual-ticket premium to plant maintenance employees at Waterton gas plant who hold Alberta journeymen ticket (electrical and instrumentation; millwright and electrical; mill- wright and instrumentation). 10% for shift-team leads. $1,300 per year for 12-hour shift schedule workers that support continuous operations and perform formal shift-handover duties, including face-to-face handover to relay information with incoming shift operator, and routinely perform duties beyond normally scheduled hours. Paid holidays: 11 days, plus first Friday in June. Plant shift- operators working continu- ous shift have option to bank holiday credit (in lieu of being paid), provided holiday falls on day they are scheduled to work. Vacations with pay: 3 weeks after 1 year, 4 weeks after 10 years, 5 weeks after 18 years (previously 19 years), 6 weeks after 25 years. 1 week may be deferred to following year but not subsequent years. Overtime: Double time for all work after 240 hours per 6-week period. Double time for all hours worked after 8 hours per day (day worker) or 12 hours per day (shift worker). Double time for all work on day which employees are not regularly scheduled to work. Double time when employees change from regular shift to new shift (first 8 hours for day workers; first 12 hours for shift workers). May be banked for future time off, maximum 48 hours. Meal allowance: Meal or $12 per meal, at employee op- tion, for unscheduled overtime after 2 hours unscheduled over- time continuous with regularly scheduled work and with each additional 2 hours of unsched- uled overtime thereafter or when insufficient time has been given to prepare meal or lunch, where after 2 hours of unsched- uled overtime not continu- ous with regularly scheduled work and with each additional 2 hours of unscheduled over- time thereafter. Maximum 4 meals or meal allowances per 16-hour work period. Seniority – recall rights: 12 consecutive months from date of lay-off. Call-in pay: Greater of 4 hours of pay at regular straight-time rate for reporting or working or pay for hours worked at 2 times regular straight-time rate. Day employees will receive portal- to-portal travel allowance when called out to work with 2 or less hours' notice and call- in is more than 2 hours' dura- tion (paid at applicable over- time rates based on following allocated times: Pincher Creek return trip 60 minutes; Pincher Creek 1-way 30 minutes). Probationary period: 6 calen- dar months' service Severance: 4 weeks' pay for first year of service plus 2 weeks' pay for each additional year of service. Safety shoes: Employer will re- imburse all employees for costs of safety footwear. Uniforms/clothing: Employer will provide each employee with personal protective equip- ment required by employer rules except undergarments. Mileage: Employer will reim- burse employees for use of per- sonal vehicles in performance of employer business at the employer-established rate. Placement assistance: Employer will provide $2,000 per employee for outplacement assistance if there is plant closure or partial plant closure which will involve permanent workforce reduction. Safety eyewear: Employer will pay total cost of approved prescription safety eyewear. On-call: 1 hour of pay for days when employee works normally scheduled shift and is on- call remainder of day; 2 hours of pay for days when employee is on-call but not scheduled to work; 2 hours of pay for days when employee is requested by management to be on-call but was not scheduled to be on-call.
