Paid as lump sum semi-monthly to employ- ees who are assigned formal shift-handover expectations, including face-to-face handover to relay critical information with incoming shift operator and who perform duties beyond normally scheduled hours. 5% above craftsman 1 rate for maintenance-lead position. Paid holidays: 11 days, plus 1 floater day. Vacations with pay: 3 weeks after 1 year, 4 weeks after 10 years, 5 weeks after 18 years, 6 weeks after 25 years. Under special circumstances, employ- ee may have 1 week of vacation deferred to next year. Overtime: Double time for all work after 9 or 12 hours per day or 40 hours per week or 160 hours per 4-week period. Double time for all work on days off. May be banked, maxi- mum 48 hours. Seniority – recall rights: 12 calendar months from date of layoff. Call-in pay: Greater of 4 hours' pay at straight-time rate or pay for actual hours worked at worksite at 2-times straight- time rate plus portal to portal (1 way: 0.75 hours; return trip: 1.5 hours). Probationary period: 9 calen- dar months. Discipline: Sunset clause is 12 months (performance im- provement program). Safety shoes: Employer will re- imburse employees for full cost of approved safety footwear as required to satisfy require- ments of role.
