Employer will schedule at least 1 winter maintenance period per year between Christmas and New Year holidays. Maintenance periods will be considered vacation time for all employees not scheduled to work, except maintenance staff, cleaning volunteers. Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 8 hours per 24-hour period or after 40 hours per week for 8-hour day shifts. Time and one-half for all work after 10 hours per 24- hour period or after 40 hours per week for 10-hour afternoon shifts. Double time for all work after 48 hours per week. Meal allowance: $12 and 30-minute unpaid break if employer requests employee to work more than 2 hours after current shift (does not apply if request is made day prior to employee's scheduled shift). Pension: If employee contributes 2.75%, employer will contribute matching 2.75%; after 5 years of service, if employee contributes 3.75%, employer will contribute matching 3.75%; after 10 years of service, if employee contributes 4.75%, employer will contribute matching 4.75%. Bereavement leave: 5 days for death in immediate family (spouse, common-law spouse, parent, grandparent, grandchild, child, brother or Travel meal allowance: $35 per full day; $8 for breakfast, $12 for lunch, $15 for supper, for meals missed during partial days.
