(21 ambulance attendants) and the Health Sciences Association of Alberta (HSAA) Renewal agreement: Effective Aug. 1, 2018 to July 31, 2020. Ratified on Aug. 9, 2019. Signed on Jan. 14, 2020. Wage adjustments: Effective Aug. 1, 2018: 0% Shift premium: $3.25 per hour for all active duty hours which fall within 64-hour period beginning at 3 p.m. on Friday to 7 a.m. on Monday. $2 per hour when employee performs supervisory duties during 1 shift or longer. Paid holidays: 12 days. Vacations with pay: 12 days after 1 year, 16 days after 4 years, 20 days after 8 years, 24 days after 15 years. Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 10 hours during 24-hour shift or work on scheduled days of rest, with less than 7 calendar days' advance notice. Medical benefits: Employer pays 80% of premiums, employee pays 20% of premiums. Dental: Employer pays 80% of premiums, employee pays 20% of premiums. Sick leave: 1.5 days for each month of employment, maximum 120 days. Employees may be required to submit satisfactory proof to employer of any illness, non-occupational accident, quarantine. When employee must pay fee for such proof, fee will be reimbursed by employer. LTD: Employee pays 100% of premiums. Bereavement leave: 4 days for death in immediate family (child, parent, brother, sister, husband, wife (including common-law spouse), fiancée, mother-in-law, father-in-law, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, stepparent, stepchildren, stepbrother, stepsister, guardian, grandparent, grandchild). 2 additional days if travel more than 500) kilometres 1-way from employee's residence is necessary to attend funeral. On each occasion that em- ployee is recalled to duty during on-call period, employee will receive pay for all hours worked during on-call period or for 2 hours, whichever is greater. EMT (emergency medical technician) training: Employees, who have completed probationary period, will be reimbursed for expenses, maximum $1,500. Any further expenses will be paid 1 year after successful completion and registration with ACP (Alberta College of Pharmacy), maximum $1,500. Remote standby: $15 meal allowance for first 5 hours duration and each subsequent period of 5 hours duration, maximum $45 per day when employee is required to standby at location or event or are dispatched on ambulance service in- volving travel beyond 60 kilometres from site or for period greater than 5 hours. Flexible spending account: Employer will provide $1,500 effective Jan. 1 of each year for flexible spending account for education, travel, professional, den- tal, RRSP, wellness expenses. Any unused funds may be carried forward, maximum 1 year. VESSEL MANAGEMENT VESSEL MANAGEMENT Anglo-Eastern Ship Management (acting for Fednav) Multiprovince (7 licensed engineers, mates, officers) and the Canadian Merchant Service Guild (CMSG) Renewal agreement: Effective May 1, 2018 to May 1, 2021. Signed on May 1, 2018. Wage adjustments: Effective May 1, 2018: 3% or COLA, whichever is higher Effective May 1, 2019: 3% or COLA, whichever is higher Effective May 1, 2020: 3% or COLA, whichever is higher Vacations with pay: 6% on each paycheque. Overtime: Double time regular day-rate for days, after 196 days, for work for employees who work more than 196 days per year; time and one-half for employees who work more than 188 days per year. Medical benefits: Employer will pay $369.10 (plus applicable taxes) per month for The Family Security Plan. Pension: After probation, employer will contribute 8.5% of employee's daily rate for each day of pay (excluding stevedoring pay), employee will contribute minimum 5%, to union's pension plan. Participation in plan is mandatory. Bereavement leave: 7 days for death in immediate family (spouse, son, daughter, mother, father). 4 days for death of Shift premium: $2 per hour when employee performs supervisory duties during 1 shift or longer.
