Paid holidays: 11 days. Vacations with pay: 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 5 years, 4 weeks after 10 years, 5 weeks after 18 years, for employees hired after Feb. 26, 2000. 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 3 years, 4 weeks after 8 years, 5 weeks after 13 years, 6 weeks after 18 years, 7 weeks after 23 years, for employees hired before Feb. 26, 2000. Vacations cannot be accumulated or carried over to future year. Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 8 or 9.5 hours per day or 37.5 hours per week. Time and one-half for all work fourth or fifth day of holiday week. Medical benefits: Employer pays 75% of premiums, em- ployee pays 25% of premiums. Employer will provide $200 per year for health spending account to part-time employ- ees. Dental: Employer pays 75% of premiums, employee pays 25% of premiums. Coverage of $1,500 combined basic/major (crowns, bridges and dentures) per year maximum; 50% for orthodontics for dependent children, up to 17, with $1,500 lifetime maximum. Vision: Maximum $225 per person every 2 years. Weekly indemnity: Employer pays 75% of premiums, em- ployee pays 25% of premiums. Coverage of 66 2/3% of average straight-time (not including premiums) weekly earnings, capped at $600 per week. Pay- able on fourth day of illness and from first day of accident, minimum 26 weeks for any 1 illness or accident. Sick leave: 1/2 days for each month of employment, maxi- mum 6 days (maximum 4 days for employees hired after Oct. 15, 2014). LTD: Coverage of 60% of average straight-time (not including premiums) weekly earnings, maximum $2,000 per month. AD&D: Employee pays 100% of premiums for coverage of $40,000. Life insurance: Employer pays 75% of premiums, employee pays 25% of premiums for cov- erage of $40,000. Pension: Employee will con- tribute — minimum $15.82 per week, maximum $79.08 per week — to BCTGM Union and Industry Canadian Pen- sion Plan. Bereavement leave: 3 days for death in family, after 90 days of employment (employees with less than 90 days of em- ployment will receive time off without pay). Seniority – recall rights: 12 months for layoffs. Probationary period: 45 working days. Discipline: Sunset clause is 24 months for verbal, written warning. Severance: 1 week to start; 1 week for each year of service, maximum 30 weeks. Uniforms/clothing: Uniforms will be supplied, maintained by employer.
