Wage adjustments: Effective Sept. 20, 2019: 1.7% Effective Sept. 20, 2020: 1.9% Effective Sept. 20, 2021: 1.9% Shift premium: $0.30 per hour for year 1; $0.35 per hour for year 2; $0.40 per hour for year 3 for afternoons. $0.35 per hour for year 1; $0.45 per hour for year 2; $0.50 per hour for year 3 for midnights. $0.05 per hour for employees work- ing split shifts. $1 per hour for lead-hands. $0.55 per hour for quality control analyst – year 1 non-legacy. Overtime: Time and one-half for hours worked beyond 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week Monday to Saturday. Double time for hours worked on Sundays and any hours worked beyond 12 consecutive on any day. Medical benefits: Employers pay 100% of premiums. Dental: Employers pay 100% of premiums. Maximum benefit for basic and major restorative services combined is $2,300 per year; $2,300 per lifetime for orthodontic services. Vision: Employers pay 100% of premiums. $350 per rolling 24 months combined for prescrip- tion glasses, visual training. Additional $50 every 12 months if prescription change occurs within 24-month interval for dependent children younger than 15. $85 every 12 months for persons younger than 18; $85 every 24 months for per- sons 18 and older. Elective laser vision correction procedures are eligible under prescription- glasses maximum. Paramedical: $1,400 per year for massage, physio, chiroprac- tic, including diagnostic maxi- mum $300 per year. Maximum $350 per 12-month period per year for registered osteopaths, naturopaths, podiatrists/chi- ropodists. STD: Employers pay 100% of premiums. LTD: Employers pay 100% of premiums for coverage of $1,625 per month. AD&D: Employers pay 100% of premiums. Life insurance: Employers pay 100% of premiums. Pension: Retirement benefit plan contributed to by both em- ployer and employees. Bereavement leave: 3 consecu- tive paid working days for death of parent, spouse, grandpar- ent, child, grandchild, sibling, sibling-in-law, child-in-law, stepparent, stepsister, stepchild, parent-in-law, grandparent-in- law, parent-in-law, grandparent- in-law. Additional 2 paid days for death of dependent spouse or child. 1 unpaid day for funeral of aunt, uncle, niece, nephew. Seniority – recall rights: 36 months. 12 months for non- seniority employees. Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours of regular pay when called in. Minimum 4 hours when no work available when not told to not report. Probationary period: 60 work- ing days of continuous employ- ment within any period of 12 consecutive months. May be extended up to 15 working days by mutual agreement between employer and union. Prescription safety glasses: Employer will supply first pair of prescription safety glasses and safety frames with side shields which meet CSA standards for all employees who work in mandatory safety glass areas, maximum $50 every 2-year period.
