Ratified February 2020. Signed Jan. 1, 2020. Wage adjustments: Effective Jan. 1, 2021: 1% Effective Jan. 1, 2022: 1% Paid holidays: 11 days. Vacations with pay: 0.83 days for each month worked, maximum of 10 days to start, 1.25 days for each month worked, maximum of 15 days after 2 years, 1.67 days for each month worked, maxi- mum of 20 days after 5 years, 2.08 vacation days earned for each month worked, maxi- mum of 25 days after 10 years. Employees may take up to 2 weeks of unearned vacation with permission. Used but unearned vacation at time of termination must reimburse employer. Overtime: Time and one- half for authorized work performed in excess of 7.5 hours per day or 37.5 hours per week; any time past 6 p.m. when child is still in care of employee. Time and one-half for mandatory meetings and training when workday is extended beyond 7.5 hours. Straight lieu time for atten- dance at optional events such as school open houses and family events. Lieu time may be accumulated, maximum 75 hours, after which time addi- tional hours will be paid out. Medical benefits, dental care: Employer pays 100% of premiums for extended health benefits for full-time em- ployees. Employer pays 60% of premiums, employee pays 40% of premiums, for extend- ed health benefits for part- time employees (28 hours per week or less). Sick leave: 1.25 days per month to maximum of 15 days per year. Total maximum accrual of 50 days. Pension: Employee contribu- tions matched by employer maximum $15 per month per employee into group RRSP. Bereavement leave: 5 paid working days for death of spouse, parent, stepparent, foster-parent, parent-in-law, child, stepchild, foster child, legal ward, sibling, steps- ibling. 3 paid working days for death of grandparent, stepgrandparent, grandchild, stepgrandchild, sibling-in- law, child-in-law. 1 day to at- tend funeral of aunt or uncle of employee or employee's spouse, nephew or niece of employee or employee's spouse. Seniority – recall rights: 12 months for layoff, pregnancy or parental leave, any other protected legislated leave. Probationary period: 600 hours worked if shift is 3 to 5.25 hours per day; 900 hours worked if shift is 5.5 to 7.5 hours per day. Employer may extend probationary period for 225 hours worked for part- time position; 337.50 hours worked for full-time position. Discipline: Sunset clause is 18 months for written warn- ing; disciplinary action (and meeting notes related to disci- plinary actions). Mileage: $0.50 per kilometre when requested by and au- thorized by supervisor to use personal vehicle for employer business.
