Meal allowance: Employer will provide $12.75 (previ- ously $12.54) to purchase meal when employee is called upon to perform more than 2 hours of overtime work continuous with regular scheduled shift; plus additional $12.75 for second meal after 5 additional hours of overtime. Effective April 1, 2021: $12.95. Effective April 1, 2022: $13.14. $12.75 (previously $12.54) for each 5 continuous hours of work for employees called upon to perform work not continuous with regular scheduled shift and who are called out prior to 6 a.m. or after 11 p.m., to report for work. Paramedical: $330 per year for chiropractor. $290 per year for massage therapist. $330 per year, then $13.40 per visit, maximum $2,000 per year for physiotherapist including athletic therapist, counselling services provided by psycho- therapist, psychologist, social worker with certification. $198 each per year for osteopath, podiatrist/chiropodist, natu- ropath, nutritional counselling by dietician. Weekly indemnity: Employer pays 100% of premiums. LTD: Employer pays 100% of premiums. Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums for cover- age of 2 times basic annual earnings. Pension: Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System (OMERS). Bereavement leave: 3 days for death in immediate fam- ily (father, stepfather, mother, stepmother, spouse, bona fide common-law spouse, fiancé(e), brother, sister, son, stepson, daughter, stepdaughter, mother-in-law, father-in-law, grandparents, grandchildren); 2 additional days for death of spouse, bona fide common- law spouse, fiancé(e), child. 3 days for death of son-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother-in- law, sister-in-law (third day will be deducted from sick leave credits). Additional 2 days if death requires em- ployee to travel more than 200 kilometres (1-way) to attend service. Seniority – recall rights: 12 months to start; 24 months after 5 years of service. Probationary period: 3 months from date of hiring. Discipline: Sunset clause is 18 months for any notice of dis- ciplinary action; 9 months for any step 1 or step 2 notices. Safety shoes: $258.57 per year (previously $254.25 per year) for safety footwear. Effective April 1, 2021: $262.71 per year. Effective April 1, 2022: $266.65 per year.
