Bereavement leave: 4 con- secutive paid days for death of parent, sibling, spouse, child, grandparent, grandchild, par- ent-in-law, stepparent, includ- ing day after funeral or memo- rial service. 4 consecutive days, of which 1 will be paid, for death of sibling-in-law, stepchild, child-in-law, parent's spouse who is not stepparent. Leave of absence of 1 day without pay or less may be given with verbal agreement by foreman, without affecting seniority. Longer dura- tion for personal reason may be given if requested in writing, is well-founded and doesn't hinder operations. Seniority – recall rights: 36 months for layoff, absence due to non-industrial sickness or non-industrial accident; 12 months for transfer to non- bargaining unit job. Call-in pay: Time and one-half after leaving company premises after completing full shift, or double time on scheduled or non-scheduled holiday. Mini- mum 4 hours when called in for meeting on off-day. Probationary period: 520 working hours. Severance: 1 week's pay for each year of service in first 5 years; 1.25 weeks' pay for each year after 5 years; 1.5 weeks' pay for each year after 15 years; 2 weeks' pay for each year after 15 years, up to 60 weeks' pay maximum. Uniforms/clothing: Employer will supply safety glasses as ap- proved by joint health and safety committee. Employer will pay price of first pair of prescription safety glasses as approved by joint health and safety com- mittee and replacement lenses when deteriorated through normal use at work. Employer supplies PPE and clothing on approved list.
