COLLECTIVE AGREEMENTS COLLECTIVE AGREEMENTS for pilots who qualify for multi-type pay (captains, first officers who are qualified to fly 2 types of company air- craft and are requested to fly multi-type aircraft). $43 per day for flight crew member who is away from home base for entire day. $35 per day for flight crew member who is fly- ing medevac. $25 per night for approved private accommoda- tions. $100 per captain, $50 per first officer for flight crew members who work overnight run and who upon return to base enter into guaranteed day off. Paid holidays: In lieu of statutory holidays, employees may bid 10 additional days of vacation per year (pro-rated for employees with less than 1 year of service). Vacations with pay: 10 days after 1 year, 12 days after 3 years, 15 days after 5 years, 20 days after 20 years. Overtime: 1.5 times per hour for any excess flying over 84 hours paid on every second pay period. 1.5 times per hour for work on guaranteed day off. Medical benefits: Employer pays 50% of premiums, em- ployee pays 50% of premiums. Dental: Employer pays 50% of premiums, employee pays 50% of premiums. Vision: Employer pays 50% of premiums, employee pays 50% of premiums. LTD: Employer pays 50% of premiums, employee pays 50% of premiums. Bereavement leave: 5 days for death in immediate family (parent, spouse, common-law spouse, child, brother, sister, step-relatives). 3 days for death of mother-in-law, father-in- law, grandparent, grandchild. Probationary period: 180 calendar days after pilot has flown first revenue flight (may be extended further 90 days). Discipline: Sunset clause is 24 months for records of disciplinary action, standard operating procedures, safety, behaviour. Safety shoes: Employer, em- ployee will share costs of shoes on 50/50 basis. Employer will reimburse employee $140 every 12 months for shoes; ad- ditional $210 every 24 months for boots. Uniforms/clothing: Pilots will be given 1 sweater; 1 winter jacket; 1 lightweight jacket; 1 rain jacket; 1 pair of black boots, all replaced every 24 months. Pilots will also be given 3 dress pants; 5 dress shirts; 2 ties; 1 belt; 1 pair of black shoes, all replaced every 12 months. Pilots will receive 1 pair of epaulettes, replaced as needed; 1 reflective vest, replaced as needed; 1 lanyard, replaced as needed; 1 toque, replaced as needed.
