COLLECTIVE AGREEMENTS COLLECTIVE AGREEMENTS uled hours and for all work done on Saturdays that isn't part of regular Friday afternoon or Friday night shift. Employees will be notified half-shift in ad- vance of overtime to be worked or be paid $10 in lieu. Main- tenance personnel may bank overtime hours, maximum 40 hours but must be taken by Dec. 1 of following year. Meal allowance: $10 will be applied directly to employees' pay if employee is not notified 1 half-shift in advance of over- time to be worked. Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums. Dental: Employer pays 100% of premiums for basic preven- tative plan. $1,000 maximum benefit per person per benefit year. Vision: Employer pays 100% of premiums for coverage of $150 every 24 months for employees and dependants. Paramedical: Employer pays 50% of premiums, employee pays 50% of premiums for chi- ropractic or physiotherapist treatment maximum of %250 per year. AD&D: Employer pays 100% of premiums for coverage of $50,000. Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums for coverage of $50,000. Pension: Employer pays 100% of premiums. Bereavement leave: 5 paid working days for death of spouse, child, parent. 3 paid working days for death of sibling, parent-in-law, grand- parent, grandchild. 1 paid working day for death of sibling-in-law, child-in-law, stepparent, stepsibling, half- sibling. Seniority – recall rights: 12 months for employees with less than 12 months' seniority; 36 months for employees with more than 12 months' seniority. Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours' pay at time and one-half and double time for hours worked in excess of 4, when called back to work after having clocked out. Probationary period: 45 working days of employment in any 12-month period. Discipline: Sunset clause is 18 months. Safety shoes: Employer covers safety footwear purchased from approved supplier that will be replaced annually if required. If employee selects footwear which exceeds value of agreed- upon selections, employee will pay any amount above value of agreed-upon selection. Tool allowance: $200 per year per active ticketed-skill tradesperson. $250 for active apprentices for required tools, plus 1-time $200 allowance at commencement of apprentice- ship.
