Sick leave: 5 working days per term. Pension: Employees with 2 consecutive years who have earned at least 35% of YMPE or worked at least 700 hours in 2 preceding calendar years can participate in Brock University Pension Plan. Bereavement leave: 5 con- secutive paid days for death of parent, stepparent, spouse, same-sex partner, sibling, child, ward, stepchild, grandparent, grandchild, sibling-in-law, parent-in-law, child-in-law, any blood relative residing in employee's home. Time may be carried over into following year, maximum 10 days. Overtime: Double time for all work after regularly scheduled hours. Time may be banked and used as time off in lieu but maximum amount of leave time allowed per year will be equivalent of 1 biweekly pay period. Balance of overtime bank account as of last day of year will be paid out. Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums for core extended health care. Em- ployee pays 100% of premiums for Alberta Health Care. Dental: Employer pays 100% of premiums. Life insurance: Employee pays 100% of premiums. Pension: Local Authorities Pension Plan. Bereavement leave: 3 days for death of immediate relative or spousal or common-law spou- sal immediate relative: son, daughter, spouse, mother, fa- ther, sister, brother, mother-in- law, father-in-law, brother-in- law, sister-in-law, grandfather, grandmother, legal guardians, grandchildren, daughter-in- law, son-in-law, grandfather- in-law, grandmother-in-law. One-half day off, without pay, to attend funeral of deceased member of CUPE, Local 70. One-half day for employee who is pallbearer at funeral in Le- thbridge; 1 day if funeral is out of town. Additional 2 days for travel more than 500 kilome- tres 1-way. Seniority – recall rights: 2 years for layoffs.
