hours of pay per day off; all highway drivers will receive 10 hours of pay per day off. Vacations with pay: 2 weeks or 4% after 1 year, 3 weeks or 6% after 5 years. Employee laid off or leaving employer before completion of 1 full year of service, will be entitled to pro-rated vacation with pay computed on same percentage of gross wages during portion of year worked. Medical benefits: Employer pays 75% of premiums, em- ployee pays 25% of premiums. Dental: Employer pays 75% of premiums, employee pays 25% of premiums. LTD: Employee pays 100% of premiums. AD&D: Employee pays 100% of premiums. Life insurance: Employee pays 100% of premiums. Pension: Employer will con- tribute $0.50 per hour (previ- ously $0.35 per hour) to Team- sters Canadian Pension Plan ( TCPP). Effective July 1, 2021: $0.75 per hour. Bereavement leave: 3 days for death of members of em- ployee's family, as specified in Canada Labour Code. Seniority – recall rights: 1 year after layoff. Call-in pay: Any employee who is called in to work on overtime day, will be guar- anteed 4 hours of pay and if employee works more than 4 hours, employee will be guar- anteed 6 hours of pay. Any employee reporting for duty on call-in or call-back basis will be guaranteed minimum of 4 hours of pay at overtime rate but after completion of duty employee was called in for, em- ployee may book off with mini- mum of 2 hours of pay . Probationary period: 90 days. Probationary rates of pay will be $2 per hour less than pre- vailing rate. Uniforms/clothing: Employer will supply, at no cost to em- ployee, fire-retardant coveralls, where required on specified sites. Employer will supply coveralls on exchange basis to all employees on worn or dam- aged basis. Regular employees will receive safety clothing al- lowance of $200 per year, on remittance of receipt for such clothing, which meets CSA approval, and will be worn at work. Sample rates of hourly pay (current, after 2.3% increase): Picker-trucks operator: $37.87 rising 2 steps to $38.72 Winch-truck operator: $35.03 rising 2 steps to $35.82 Straight-truck operator: $32.74 rising 2 steps to $33.48 Forklift operator: $33.28 rising 2 steps to $34.04 Swamper: $24.76 rising 2 steps to $25.32 Pipe-yard labourer: $23.94 ris- ing 2 steps to $24.24 Sample rates of hourly pay (current): Apprentice picker operators: $2 per hour less than established picker operator rate (upon completion of apprenticeship, employee will receive full rates of pay contained in collective agreement). Signing bonus: All active em- ployees will be paid 1-time lump sum signing bonus of $300 on first pay following rati- fication. Editor's notes: Medical examinations: Employer will pay for any medical examinations required by employer. Drivers who have completed 1 or more years of employment and who are required to take government physical or medical examinations for vehicle operators' license will make it available to employer for copying. Non-driving time: For drivers only, all non-driv- ing time related to miscellaneous activity such as washing equipment, truck repairs, will be paid at rate equal to pipe-yard labourer classification. Overnight stays: Employer will pay for reasonable cost of hotel room and meals for each employee who is required to remain away from home terminal on overnight basis (where camp facilities are available, employee will receive board and lodging at no cost to employee). On-call pay: 2 hours of pay per day where employer requires employees to remain on call and available for weekends or long weekends and employees receives no call- ins during designated period. Teamsters union/industry advancement fund: Employer will contribute $0.05 per hour to Teamsters union/industry ad- vancement fund. SOCIAL SERVICES Woodgreen Community Services Toronto (600 support workers) and the Workers United Canada Council (WUCC), Local 154 Renewal agreement: Effec- tive April 1, 2020 to March 31, 2023. Ratified in August 2020. Signed on Oct. 30, 2020. Wage adjustments: Effective April 1, 2020: 1% Effective April 1, 2021: 1% Effective April 1, 2022: 1% Paid holidays: 10 days. Perma- nent full-time employees are entitled to 2 days per calendar year for religious, cultural, personal reasons. Third day is added after 5 years of service; fourth after 15 years. Vacations with pay: 15 days to start, 20 days after 5 years, 25 days after 10 years, 30 days after 20 years. Medical benefits: Employer pays full cost of plan with semi- private coverage, $6,000 per year drug cap per individual, out-of-Canada coverage. Dental: Employer pays 100% of premiums for coverage for 90% basic, 50% major restorative. Vision: Employer pays 100% of premiums for coverage up to $300 per 24 months. Paramedical: Employer pays 100% of premiums for $1,250 per individual maximum per year. PSWs receive $750 an- nual health spending account (HSA). ESL instructors receive $400 HSA per year. Sick leave: 5.25 hours per pay period, maximum 10.5 hours per month, after 3 months of service. 5 hours per month for PSWs, up to 40 hours per year. 1 hour per month for ESL in- structors who work less than 20 hours per week and 1.5 hours per month for ESL instructors who work more than 20 hours per week. LTD: Employee pays 100% of premiums with 6-month elimi- nation period. AD&D: Employer pays 100% of premiums coverage of 2 times annual salary. Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums for cover- age of 2 times annual salary; $10,000 for spouse; $5,000 for child. Pension: Permanent FTEs are required to contribute 3% of regular salary to group RRSP. Employer contributes 3% to 6%, depending on employee's length of service. Bereavement leave: 6 con- secutive paid days for death of spouse, same-sex partner, child (including child of spouse, same-sex partner. 5 consecutive paid days for death of parent, sibling, guardian, grandparent, grandchild. 2 consecutive paid days for death of parent-in-law, child-in-law, sibling-in-law, aunt, uncle, niece, nephew. Seniority – recall rights: 12 months. Call-in pay: Minimum 3 hours' pay. $15 per day for employees who are on-call and $40 for be- ing on-call on holiday. Probationary period: 6 months of at least 20 hours per week. For employees that work average of less than 20 hours per week, extended until 520 hours worked or 2 years, whichever occurs first.
