Every resident will be entitled to at least 5 consecutive days off during 12-day period that en- compasses Christmas, New Year's Day, 2 full weekends (5 days off are to account for 3 statutory holidays, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year's Day, 2 weekend days). Vacations with pay: 20 days or 4 weeks to start. Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums under plan approved by Medical Ser- vices Commission of B.C. (or pay equivalent of cost of B.C. Medical Services Plan premi- ums to private health insurers on behalf of residents who are working on employment visas). Employer pays 90% of premi- ums, employee pays 10% of premiums for extended health plan. Dental: Employer pays 90% of premiums, employee pays 10% of premiums.
