Call-in pay: $0.50 per kilome- tre or taxi fare from home to hospital and return, minimum $2 per each round trip, for resi- dent who is scheduled to be on- call (off site) and is called in. Uniforms/clothing: Employer will supply uniforms which will be laundered by employer. Sample rates of annual pay (current): Resident 1: $54,848.73 Resident 2: $61,187.38 Resident 3: $66,676.93 Resident 4: $71,771.76 Resident 5: $77,184.09 Resident 6: $82,405.65 Resident 7: $87,819.41 Editor's notes: Hearing aids: $600 every 48 months per employee or dependant. On-call areas: Employer will provide suit- able on-call areas for residents who are on-site for assigned duties. On-call area will have clean sheets and towels changed on 24-hour basis; door which locks from inside; bed; bedside lamp; privacy; telephone; non-public shower with hot and cold running water; non-public sink; non-public toilet; suitable desk; chair. Parking: Employer will provide no-cost parking at hospital for residents on-call who are called back to work. Flexible days off: Each resident may take 2 paid flexible days off per academic year. Professional expenses benefit: To assist residents with costs relating to residency and professional develop- ment, lump-sum payment will be provided to residents: $1,000 at conclusion of 2018-2019 academic year for R1s and R2s and equal portion of surplus on-call funds for R3s to R7s; $1,000 at conclusion of 2019-2020 and at conclusion of each aca- demic year thereafter for R1s to R7s. Up to 3 additional days, without pay, for travel if family member resides outside of Fort Smith or ceremonies take place outside of Fort Smith. Seniority – recall rights: 12 months after layoff. Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours of pay at straight-time rate. Probationary period: 975 hours worked.
