Vacations with pay: 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 5 years, 4 weeks after 10 years. Vacation must be taken in mini- mum 1 week blocks. During busy periods (summer or Christ- mas holidays), vacation blackout might be implemented, where no vacation may be taken. Overtime: Time and one-half if pilot works more than 15 days in a 4-week period. Daily flight time bonus equal to daily rate when pilot works more than 80 hours in a 4-week block. Sick leave: 1 day earned every 3 months, up to 4 per year. Accumulate to no more than 6 days per year. Doctor's note required after 3 sick days. Pension: Operating Engineer's Pension Plan. 1% of annual salary. Bereavement leave: 3 days immediately following death of immediate family member, plus the day employee is informed. Up to 2 additional days, unpaid, may be taken. Immediate fam- ily includes spouse, parents, children, sisters, brothers, father- in-law, mother-in-law or any relative permanently residing with the pilot. Probationary period: 6 months. Discipline: Sunset clause is 1 year. Severance: 2 week's notice of layoff, or 2 week's pay in lieu. Uniforms/clothing: 4 company shirts, 1 tie, 1 epaulet set pro- vided initially. 3 company shirts, 1 tie provided annually. $100 per year for black pants, upon receipt. Employees must provide black shoes and black socks. Mileage: 49¢ per kilometre. Bereavement leave: 5 days for the death of employee's spouse (including common-law), child (including spouse's child), foster child, parent (including spouse of parent), brother, sister, grand- parent, grandchild, father-in-law, mother-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law and any relative living with the employee. 3 days for the death of employee's niece, nephew, aunt, uncle, cousin and any other relative residing in Taloyoak.
