Vacations with pay: 1 day per month worked to a maximum of 10 days to start, 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 5 years, 4 weeks after 8 years and 5 weeks after 15 years. Overtime: Time and one-half after 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week. Time and one- half for all hours worked on a statutory holiday. Time and one-half for all hours worked on sixth or seventh shift. Medical benefits: Employer pays 50% of premiums. Dental: Employer pays 50% of premiums. Sick leave: 3 days per year. LTD: Employees pay the cost of long-term disability. AD&D: Employer pays 100% of premiums. Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums. Sample rates of pay, current: Driver: $19.57 per hour Editor's notes: Jury or witness duty: Employees summoned to act as a witness will be paid for any loss of time. Em- ployees summoned to serve as a juror will be paid an amount equivalent to his hourly rate of pay multiplied by the total regular hours he would normally have worked during his absence as a juror. Sick notes: Employer will reimburse employee $20 for the cost of obtaining a doctor's note or certificate. Loss of licence: If an employee loses his driver's licence or if his licence is suspended and he fails to immediately notify the employer, he will be dismissed and will not have recourse to the grievance procedure. A driver who loses his licence or has it suspended will be suspended from work without pay until he is able to obtain a new permit, if applicable. Parking tickets: If an employee receives a park- ing ticket while following the instructions of the employer, the employer will pay the cost of the ticket. The employer will not pay the cost of tickets or fines for employees guilty of parking in a bus route, handicap parking, designated fire route or "no stopping" zones.
