Uniforms/clothing: Employer provides safety clothing as required, including rain pants, rubber boots, safety helmets, gloves, safety glasses and ear protection. Tool allowance: Up to $750 per employee. Mileage: 50¢ per km for the first 5,000 km per year and 46¢ per km thereafter. Birthday: 1 paid day for employee's birthday. Flood or fire: 3 unpaid days for serious fire or flood in employee's home. Domestic emergency: 1 unpaid day.
