Signed on June 29, 2015. Wage adjustments: Effective April 1, 2016: 35¢ Effective April 1, 2017: 35¢ Calculated by CLR. Shift premium: $1.25 per hour for employees required to act as servers on luncheon functions. $1.50 per hour for employees required to act as servers on dinner functions. 35¢ per hour for all hours worked during split shifts. Paid holidays: 11 days. Vacations with pay: 1 day per 25 days worked to a maximum of 10 days to start, 3 weeks after 5 years, 4 weeks after 11 years, 5 weeks after 21 years and 6 weeks after 30 years. Overtime: Time and one-half for all hours worked beyond 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week. Time and one-half for all hours worked on an assigned day off duty. Meal allowance: Employees required to work a double con- secutive shift will be provided a hot meal. Bereavement leave: 4 paid days for employee's father, mother, spouse, child, brother, sister, father-in-law, mother-in- law, grandparent or grandchild. 2 paid days and 2 unpaid days for employee's daughter-in-law or son-in-law. 1 paid day and 2 unpaid days for employee's brother-in-law or sister-in-law. Employees hired after 2008 must provide a $50 deposit to be refunded upon return of the employee's uniform, lock and ID card in acceptable condition. Vacations with pay: 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 5 years, 4 weeks after 11 years and 5 weeks after 20 years. Overtime: Time and one-half for all hours worked beyond 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week. Meal allowance: $10 when a run exceeds 13 hours. $10 for employees required to remain at the branch to await the re- turn of an overnight run that is unduly delayed and arrives after 7 p.m. Vision: $200 every 2 years. Sick leave: 5 days for full-time employees. LTD: 60% of monthly earning for a maximum of 3 years. AD&D: $40,000. $40,000 for felonious assault insurance. Life insurance: $40,000. Call-in pay: Minimum 3 hours' pay. Probationary period: 180 days. Safety shoes: $125 every 2 years. Uniforms/clothing: The employer provides uniforms. Employer reimburses 50% of the cost of bullet-resistant vests to a maximum of $275 for em- ployees working on the road. The employer has no liability as a consequence of vest failure as the purchase and utilization of the vest is at the sole discretion of the employee. Employees will be eligible to replace vests every 5 years. Sample rates of pay (current, after 50¢ increase): Messenger/crew chief: $20 per hour Driver: $19.50 Guard: $19.50 Technician: $18.31 Part-time messenger/crew chief: $15.50 Part-time driver: $15.50 Part-time guard: $15.50 Part-time technician: $15.50 Editor's notes: Severe weather: When the employer cancels a run or multiple runs due to severe weather conditions, employees will be paid the scheduled hours for their particular runs. Employees already on the road who are recalled because of unsafe road conditions will be paid the scheduled hours for their particular runs. The employer may re- quire recalled employees to perform other duties until the end of their scheduled shift. Shooting practice: Employees will be paid 4 hours at straight time 2 times each year for the purpose of shooting practice and qualification.
