Paternity leave: 5 weeks without pay. Parental leave: 52 weeks without pay. Absence of birth or adoption: Where there is termination of pregnancy before the beginning of the 20th week preceding the expected date of delivery, 3 weeks without pay. If the termination occurs in or after the 20th week, 18 weeks. Medical leave: In cases of a short-term medical leave, not to exceed 3 weeks of the appointment, an authorized exchange of services agreeable to the employee and the course supervisor can be arranged, without re- duction in pay. Overtime: Time-and-one-half for first 3 hours worked beyond 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week; double time for addi- tional hours. Double time for working Sundays. Meal allowance: $6 when 3 hours or more of overtime is worked after 8-hour shift.
