(80 personal support workers, nurses) and WUCC Local 2832 Renewal agreement: Effective June 8, 2016, to March 31, 2019. Signed on June 8, 2016. Wage adjustments: Effective April 1, 2017: 0.7% Effective April 1, 2018: 0.7% Shift premium: Night pre- mium: $0.24 per hour for work between 5 p.m. and 5 a.m. Weekend premium: $0.24 per hour for work between 5 p.m. Friday and 5 a.m. Monday. Paid holidays: 9 days. Vacations with pay: 2 weeks or 4% to start, 3 weeks or 6% after 2 years, 4 weeks or 8% after 8 years. Overtime: Time and one-half after 88 hours per 2 weeks. Medical benefits: Great West Life Plan. Employees responsi- ble for critical illness premiums. Bereavement leave: 3 days for death in immediate family (parent, child, sibling, spouse, grandparent, grandchild, par- ent-in-law). Probationary period: 400 hours or 6 months. Discipline: Sunset clause is 18 months for suspension or 12 months for non-suspension dis- ciplinary action. Mileage: $0.38 per kilometre. Sample rates of pay (current, after 0.7% increase): CCAC personal support work- er: $16.92 to $18.23 rising to $17.10 to $18.43. Non-CCAC personal support worker: $14.82 to $15.73 rising 3 steps to $17.10 to $18.43. RPN: $20.25 rising 2 steps to $20.53 RN: $24.45 rising 2 steps to $24.79 Editor's notes: Government wage enhancement: The employer shall update all employees of timing and eligibility of wage enhancement payments from the Ontario government. New staff orientation: 1 steward will have 15 minutes to meet with new staff group. Labour management meetings: Quarterly labour-management meetings in order to discuss matters of mutual interest. Wage adjustments: Effective June 15, 2016: $1.52 per hour. Shift premium: First night shift: $1.50 per hour. Second night shift: $1.60 per hour. Jour- neyman in charge of a press of 4 or more printing units of 25 feet and larger sheet size $30 per week. (previously $25) Paid holidays: 10 days, plus 1 floating holiday. Vacations with pay: 2 weeks af- ter 1 year, 3 weeks after 3 years, 4 weeks after 10 years, 5 weeks after 20 years. Overtime: Time and one-half for the fourth day of work. After 7.5 hours, double time. Double time for the fifth day of work per week. Double time for statutory holidays. Medical benefits: 60% contri- butions paid by employer. Vision: $200 every 2 years, plus full cost reimbursed for eye exams. Sick leave: 5 days, plus 2 per year, maximum banked of 25 days. Pension: Employer contributes $9.50 per shift worked. Bereavement leave: 5 days for death in immediate family (spouse, including common- law, children, father, mother, brother or sister). 3 days for death in other family (mother-in-law, father-in-law, grandchild, grandfather, grand- mother, son-in-law or daugh- ter-in-law). 3 days unpaid time off for death of brother-in-law or sister-in-law.
