Vacations with pay: 3 weeks to start, 4 weeks after 2 years, 5 weeks after 7 years, 6 weeks af- ter 15 years, 6 weeks and 2 days after 18 years, 7 weeks and 1 day after 22 years. One-half day may be added for travel time. Overtime: Time and one-half for first 4 hours in excess of regular hours. Double time for all subsequent hours or all hours on second or subsequent day of rest or paid holiday. Can be banked as lieu time up to 10 days per year. Minimum 1 hour of overtime must be paid. Meal allowance: Provided where employee must work 2 or more hours of overtime im- mediately following regularly scheduled hours. Medical benefits: Company- funded extended health care and dental insurance plans. Sick leave: 1 ΒΌ days for each calendar month receiving at least 10 days' pay. Life insurance: Company- funded group benefit plan with life insurance, AD&D, LTD. Pension: Company-funded Northern Employee Benefits Services Pension Plan. Bereavement leave: 5 days for death of immediate family member (father, mother, broth- er, sister, spouse, common-law spouse, child, father-in-law, mother-in-law, grandchildren, grandparents, any relative permanently residing in the employee's household, includ- ing stepmother, stepfather, stepchild, foster child). Seniority – recall rights: 12 months. Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours at straight time rate or appro- priate overtime rate. Minimum 4 hours at appropriate overtime rate if on day of rest or paid holiday. Severance: First layoff: 2 weeks' pay for each of first and second year of employment and 1 week for each successive complete year of employment to a maxi- mum 28 weeks' pay. Second layoff: 2 weeks for first year and 1 week for each successive year of employment to a maximum of 27 weeks. Safety shoes: $200 per year for certain recreation, maintenance and airport employees. Uniforms/clothing: Company provides hard hats, aprons, welding gloves, dust protection, eye protection, ear protection, coveralls, rubber boots and gloves where required. Tool allowance: Company sup- plies all shop tools and special tools required. Mileage: $0.485 per kilometre when using employee's car for employer's business. Double time for work on a statutory holiday. Meal allowance: If working more than 2 hours of overtime, and every 4 hours thereafter, employer provides hot meal or $25 if no meal is feasible.
