Temporary member hire: Maximum term of employment shall be 18 months to address vacation leave, extended sick leave, and other approved leaves. Physical fitness program: In order to ensure members' fitness is appropriate for their duties, the city will provide 60 minutes for fitness followed by a 15-minute shower break per shift, provided response readiness is not compromised.
