Uniforms/clothing: $275 for clothing ordered from compa- ny-designated supplier. Reason- able quality gloves will be pro- vided — maximum 6 pairs per year — at no cost to employee. Employer will provide all driv- ers — from company order form — with coveralls and rain gear once per year. HEALTH CARE Rykka Care Centre Toronto (230 health-care workers, cooks, maintenance staff ) and the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), Local 1 Renewal agreement: Effective Sept. 22, 2016, to Sept. 21, 2019. Shift premium: $0.28 per hour for employees who are required by employer to rotate over 2 or more shifts. $0.35 per hour worked between 11 p.m. Friday and 11 p.m. Sunday. $1.50 per hour when employer assigns employee to orient new em- ployee during orientation peri- od. Handyman: $0.15 per hour above janitor rate for all hours worked in handyman classifica- tion. Dietary aides who have completed college food-service worker training program will receive $0.10 per hour premium above prevailing rate. Paid holidays: 10 days, plus 1 float day. Anniversary date of employee's employment will be recognized as paid float holiday, to be taken on anniversary date, or within 45 days following date. Vacations with pay: 4% to start, 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 3 years, 4 weeks after 8 years, 5 weeks after 15 years, 6 weeks after 22 years, 7 weeks after 28 years. Overtime: Time and one-half for working on assigned day off. Time and one-half for all hours worked after 7.5 per day, 75 hours bi-weekly. Meal allowance: 1 free meal when working 3 overtime hours, 2 free meals when work- ing full overtime shift after regular shift. Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums for OHIP. Dental: Employer pays 50% of premiums, employee pays 50%. Maximum $2,000 per person. Dentures, crowns and braces (for children up to the age of 18) subject to 50% co-insurance. Vision: Employer pays 100% of premiums. $275 every 24 months, to include both con- tact lens and laser eye surgery. Effective Sept. 22, 2017: $275 every 24 months. Effective Sept. 22, 2018: $300 every 24 months. Weekly indemnity: Employer pays 100% of premiums for coverage of 66 2/3% of wages between 18 through 35 weeks. Sick leave: 3 days to start. 7.5 hours credit per each 162.5 hours paid, maximum 105 hours. Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums for $30,000 coverage. Pension: Employer contributes 4%, employee contributes 4% to Nursing Employers and Related Industries Pension Plan. Bereavement leave: 5 days for death of spouse, same-sex partner, child, stepchild. 3 days for death of mother, father, stepparents, mother-in-law, father-in-law, brother, sister, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, legal guardian, grandparent, grandchildren, son-in-law, daughter-in-law. 1 day for death of aunt, uncle, niece, nephew. 4 additional travel days, if needed. Hearing aids: Employer will pay 100%, maximum $300 for hearing aids.
