Wage adjustments: Effective Jan. 1, 2017: 1.75% Effective Jan. 1, 2017: 2% Shift premium: Senior work: Trade employee assigned as foreman will receive 110% of employee's salary. Paid holidays: 13 days, includ- ing one-half day on Christmas Eve. Vacations with pay: 3 weeks after 1 year, 4 weeks after 8 years, 5 weeks after 15 years, 6 weeks after 24 years. Maximum 1 week may be carried over. Overtime: Double time for all work after regular shift. May be banked, maximum 80 hours. Meal allowance: Reimburse- ment for meals after every 4 hours of overtime. Medical benefits: Employer pays 50% of premiums, employ- ee pays 50% for Alberta Health Care Insurance. Employer pays 100% of premiums for Blue Cross Supplementary Medical Plan. Uniforms/clothing: Employer will issue line foreman, meter and substations foreman, jour- neyman lineman/powerline technician and apprentice powerline technician and elec- tricians with: 5 FR bib coveralls or FR pants, 7 FR shirts, 2 FR jackets, 1 FR winter parka, FR rain gear, one pair per year bib coveralls (non-FR ) for traffic loop installation, appropriate hard hats, 1 FR hoodie, choice of FR hat-liner or FR balaclava, gloves, wet-weather clothing (boots and mitts). Employer will issue senior utility worker, URD utility worker, URD utility worker, electrical engineering tech, designer (team leader and designers 1, 2 and 3 work- ing outside) with: gloves, wet weather clothing (boots, coats, pants and mitts), appropriate hard hat, choice of FR hat-liner or FR balaclava. Senior utility worker and URD worker will be provided with: 1 bib coveralls. Retirement allowance: On retirement and after 15 years of service, employee shall receive 1 day of vacation for each year of service. Prescription safety glasses: $175 every 2 years.
