Paid holidays: 11 days. Vacations with pay: 9.375 hours per month to start, 12.5 hours per month after 8 years, 13.75 hours per month after 16 years, 14.4 hours per month after 17 years, 15.63 hours per month after 18 years, 16.88 hours per month after 27 years, 18.75 hours after 28 years. Time may be carried over, maximum 262.5 hours. Overtime: Time and one-half for hours worked after regular shifts. Double time for each hour of overtime worked after 15 hours' work in any 24-hour period or after 7.5 hours' work on employee's first day of rest and for all hours worked on sec- ond or subsequent day of rest. Meal allowance: $10 — except where free meals are provided — after more than 3 hours of overtime. $10 for each subse- quent 3-hour period of over- time. Sick leave: 9.38 hours per month. Additional 1.25 hours per month for shift workers. Bereavement leave: 7 days for death in immediate family (father, mother, stepfather, step- mother, foster-parent, brother, stepbrother, sister, stepsister, spouse, common-law partner, child, child of common-law partner, stepchild, foster-child, ward of employee, father-in- law, mother-in-law, grandchild, grandparent, relative residing in employee's household). 3 ad- ditional days for travel. 1 day for death of brother-in-law, sister- in-law, grandparents of spouse. Call-in pay: 3 hours' pay at overtime rate, maximum 8 hours' compensation in 8-hour period. Discipline: Sunset clause is 2 years. Severance: On first layoff, 2 weeks' pay; 3 weeks' pay for employees with 10 or more and less than 20 years of employ- ment; 4 weeks' pay for employ- ees with 20 or more years of employment, plus 1 week's pay for each additional year of em- ployment. On second or sub- sequent layoff, 1 week's pay for each year of employment. Signed on Jan. 30, 2017. Shift premium: $1.75 per hour (previously $1.25 per hour) for all hours worked between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. $1.25 per hour (previously $1 per hour) for each hour worked in freezer. $0.50 per hour for emergency first aider. $1 per hour for stan- dard first aider. Paid holidays: 11 days. Vacations with pay: 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 3 years, 4 weeks after 10 years, 5 weeks after 17 years, 6 weeks after 22 years. Overtime: Time and one-half for all time worked in excess of the basic workday (8 or 10 hours per day or 40 hours per week). Double time after 3 hours worked. May be banked, maximum $5,000. Meal allowance: $10 after working 3 hours of overtime. Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums for extended health care. Employer pays 60% of premiums, employ- ee pays 40% of premiums for Alberta Healthcare. Employer will contribute $1.75 per month per employee to Employee Family Assistance Program administered by CLAC Health and Welfare Trust Fund. Dental: Employer pays 100% of premiums. 80% for basic ser- vices; 50% for major restorative services, maximum $2,000 per person per year; 50% ortho- dontics for dependent children, lifetime maximum $1,500 per child. Sick leave: 4 hours for each 160 hours worked. Maximum ac- crual of 40 hours. STD: Employee pays 100% of premiums. 66 2/3% weekly earnings, maximum $700 per week, maximum 17 weeks. LTD: Employee pays 100% of premiums. 66 2/3% of first $2,250 of monthly earnings, plus 50 per cent of balance of employee's monthly earnings, maximum $7,500 per month. Payable after STD benefits end. Life insurance: Employer pays 60% of premiums, employee pays 40% of premiums for cov- erage of 2-times annual earn- ings, maximum $100,000. Pension: Employer will con- tribute matching funds to RRSP. 1% after 1 year's service; 2% after 2 years' service; 3% after 3 years' service; 4% after 4 years' service; 5% after 5 years' service. Bereavement leave: 5 days for death of parent, parent's spouse, spouse, spouse's parent, child, child's spouse, spouse's child by former marriage. 3 days for Meal allowance: $10 after working 3 hours of overtime.
