Employer will pro- vide laundry services for garage mechanics, parks mechanics and helpers, employees work- ing in waste-water collection/ treatment, and fleet services and transit-service workers, for 5 pairs of coveralls, once per week per person. Employer will provide 5 pairs of sized-sum- mer coveralls to water distribu- tion and wastewater collection employees. Employees in water distribution and wastewater collection will be given 1 fitted- winter jacket and 1 fitted-pair of winter salopettes and laundry service. Solid-waste collection employees will be given 5 pairs of summer coveralls, 1 winter jacket, 1 pair of salopettes and laundry service. Pesticide appli- cators will be given disposable coveralls. Employer will provide laundry service for storekeep- ers, for 1 smock, once per week, per person. Senior-services kitchen staff will be given hair nets and 5 wash-and-wear tops and aprons each. Tool allowance: $37.50 per month for mechanics and heavy-duty mechanics. $8.33 per month for fleet services - service workers. Mileage: During winter months (Dec. 1 to March 1), meter reader or tax assessor who uses personal vehicle on city business and vehicle is frequently stopped, parked and started or left idling, will be paid additional allowance of $2 per day. Shift premium: $1.25 per hour when employer designates LPN to be in charge. $2.50 per hour for all hours worked between 3 p.m. and 11 p.m. (Monday to Friday). $4 per hour for all hours worked between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. (Monday to Friday). $3.50 per hour when majority of shift falls between 3 p.m. on Friday to 7 a.m. on Monday. $2 per hour when employee replaces or assumes additional responsibilities during absence of out-of-scope employee. Paid holidays: 11 days. Vacations with pay: Existing employees as of July 25, 2017: 15 days after 1 year, 20 days after 4 years, 25 days after 15 years. New employees as of July 25, 2017: 10 days after 1 year, 15 days after 4 years, 20 days after 15 years. Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 7 3/4 hours per day. Meal allowance: When em- ployee works double shift, max- imum $20 will be reimbursed for meal. Medical benefits: Covenant Care Benefit Plan. $800 per year for flex spending account that can be used for health, wellness, education technology, legal, personal interest, nutrition and weight management, family care and RRSPs. Dental: Employer pays 70% of premiums, employee pays 30% of premiums. Alberta Blue Cross Dental Plan. Reimburse- ment of 80% for basic services, 50% for extensive services, 50% for orthodontic services. Maxi- mum $3,000 per person for all benefits combined. Sick leave: 1 day per month, maximum 252 hours. STD: Employee pays 100% of premiums for 66 2/3% of basic earnings after 14-day elimina- tion period for 120 working days. LTD: Employee pays 100% of premiums for 66 2/3% of basic earnings after 120 working days. AD&D: Employer pays 100% of premiums. Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums. Pension: Group RRSP match- ing pension plan. Employees contribute maximum 3% to plan, matched by employer.
