Shift premium: $0.80 per hour (previously $0.70 per hour) when employee works split shift. $1.05 per hour (previously $0.85 per hour) for each hour worked on second shift (even- ing). $1.15 per hour (previously $0.95 per hour) for each hour worked on third shift (grave- yard). $1.05 per hour for each hour worked outside of regular work hours for department (from normal quitting time until midnight). $1.15 per hour for each hour worked between midnight and regular day-shift start-time for department. Transit employees: $1.05 per hour for all hours worked be- tween 4 p.m. and midnight; $1.15 per hour for all hours worked between midnight and 8 a.m. $1.15 per hour for all hours worked on Sunday. Paid holidays: 11 days. Vacations with pay: 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 2 years, 4 weeks after 10 years, 5 weeks after 15 years, 6 weeks after 20 years. May be carried over, maximum 150% of normal annual vacation entitlement. Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 7 hours per day, 8 hours per day or 10 hours per day. Time and one-half for all work on Saturday, Sunday. Dental: Employer pays 100% of premiums. Vision: 80% coverage, max- imum $250 every 24 months. 80% coverage, maximum $55 every 24 months for eye exam- inations. Sick leave: 10.5 hours per month for 7-hour per day em- ployees. 12 hours per month for employees who work more than 7 hours per day. LTD: Employer pays 100% of premiums. AD&D: Coverage of 2-times employee's annual earnings. Life insurance: Coverage of 2-times employee's annual earnings. Pension: All employees will — as a condition of employment — participate in Ontario Mu- nicipal Employees Retirement System. Bereavement leave: 5 days for death in immediate family (spouse, partner, child, step- child, parents, sister, brother, grandchild). 3 days for death of father-in-law, mother-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, stepparent, grandparents, sis- ter-in-law, brother-in-law. 1 day for death of spouse's grand- parent. Employee may request to take 1 day from allocated time for celebration-of-life ser- vice, memorial service, burial, internment that is delayed or postponed to later date. Seniority – recall rights: 24 months. Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours' pay at time and one-half. Probationary period: 3 months for full-time, 60 work- ing days for part-time. Discipline: Sunset clause is 24 months. Safety shoes: $195 per year. Effective Jan. 1, 2018: $205 per year. Effective Jan. 1, 2019: $215 per year. $90 twice per year for outside public works, parks, arenas, water and wastewater facilities operational and main- tenance and landfill employees to purchase winter rubber boots. Uniforms/clothing: Employ- er will provide rubber boots, rubber suits, rain hats, gloves. Operational employees in water and wastewater facilities will be provided 2 pairs of rubber boots due to risk of cross-contamin- ation between facilities. If em- ployee is required to purchase and maintain suitable working attire, $445 clothing allowance per year will be paid. Tool allowance: $700 per year. Effective Jan. 1, 2018: $720 per year. Effective Jan. 1, 2019: $740 per year for mechanic, mech- anical charge hand fire, mech- anical department charge hand (evenings), apprentice mechan- ic, sewer and water mechanic and W&WVVF industrial mill- wrights. Mileage: $0.50 per kilometre.
