Relocation allowance: When employee relocates to another location, following amounts will be given. $3,000 for 80 to 159 kilometres away; $3,300 for 160 to 479 kilometres away; $3,600 for 480 to 799 kilometres away; $3,900 for 800 to 1,599 kilometres away; $4,200 for 1,600 kilometres away or more. COAL EXPORT TERMINAL Westshore Terminals Delta, B.C. (130 labourers, production, maintenance employees) and the International Longshore and Warehouse Union Canada (ILWU), Local 502 Renewal agreement: Effective Feb. 1, 2016, to Jan. 31, 2020. Signed on July 31, 2017. Paid holidays: 12 days. Vacations with pay: 1 week after 6 months, 3 weeks or 6% after 1 year, 4 weeks or 8% after 5 years, 5 weeks or 10% after 10 years, 6 weeks or 12% after 15 years, 7 weeks or 14% after 20 years. Overtime: Double time for hours worked in excess of em- ployee's normal work week, or work day. Triple time for hours worked in excess of nor- mal work day where employee works at double time for nor- mal work day. Time may be banked. Meal allowance: When ex- tended shift is needed for indi- vidual or crew, employer will furnish hot meal after first hour of extended period. Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums. Maxi- mum $400,000 lifetime cover- age for extended health care benefits. Dental: Employer pays 100% of premiums. $3,000 lifetime max- imum for orthodontia coverage. Coverage for partial, complete dentures once every 5 years. Vision: $1,000 every 24 months (previously $450 per year). AD&D: Employer pays 100% of premiums for death benefits equal to twice employee's an- nual salary rounded to next highest $1,000. Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums for death benefits equal to 3 times em- ployee's annual salary rounded to next highest $1,000. Pension: B.C.M.E.A. Industry Pension Plan or defined contri- bution plan for all employees hired after ratification date. Employer will contribute 15% of base pay to plan. Bereavement leave: 3 days for death in immediate fam- ily (spouse, mother, father, mother-in-law, father-in-law, son, daughter, brother, sister, grandparents, grandchildren). 2 additional days when travel- ling more than 300 kilometres (previously 500 miles) from company's site. 1 day for death of sister-in-law, brother-in-law. Seniority to recall rights: 12 months. Call-in pay: Minimum of 8 hours at double time for non- scheduled work. Probationary period: If em- ployee performs maintenance work: 90 days; 60 days if em- ployee performs production work. Discipline: Sunset clause is 2 years. Severance: 5 weeks' pay after 6 months of service. Additional 2 weeks' pay after 1 year of ser- vice. Safety shoes: $300 per year for CSA-approved safety work boots. Uniforms/clothing: Employer will provide employees with protective clothing or equip- ment required in performance of duties. $100 per year for win- ter coat or CSA-approved safety winter boots. Employer will supply all needed raingear. Sample rates of monthly pay (current, after 6% increase): $10,044 rising 2 steps to $10,655 Apprenticeship level 0 to 6 months: 55% 7 to 12 months: 60% 13 to 18 months: 65% 19 to 24 months: 70% 25 to 30 months: 75% 31 to 36 months: 80% 37 to 42 months: 85% 43 to 48 months: 90% AIRPORTS Nav Canada Multiprovince (650 flight service specialists) and the Air Traffic Specialists Association of Canada Unifor Local 2245 Renewal agreement: Effective July 18, 2017, to April 30, 2019. Signed on July 18, 2017. Shift premium: $1.50 per hour for all hours worked on rotating or irregular shifts — including overtime hours — between 4 p.m. and 11:59 p.m. local time. $3.75 per hour for all hours worked on rotating or irregular shifts — including overtime hours — between midnight and 8 a.m. local time. $2.50 per hour for work on a Saturday or Sunday between 10 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Monday. $12 per hour when flight service specialist in operating unit provides on- job training to another flight service specialist who requires training to operate unit. $1,000 per year for operational em- ployees required to provide op- erational service in both official languages. $10 per shift for em- ployees who perform higher- level supervisory responsibili- ties for majority of shift. Paid holidays: 11 days. Vacations with pay: Non- operating employees: 112.5 hours to start, 150 hours after 8 years, 165 hours after 16 years, 172.5 hours after 17 years, 187.5 hours after 18 years, 202.5 hours after 27 years, 225 hours after 28 years. Operating em- ployees: 120 hours to start, 160 hours after 8 years, 176 hours after 16 years, 184 hours after 17 years, 200 hours after 18 years, 216 hours after 27 years, 240 hours after 28 years. May be carried over year to year in exceptional circumstances (37 1/2) hours for non-operational employees; 50 hours for opera- tional employees). Overtime: Double time for all work after regular 37.5 hours per week or 7.5 hours per day for non-operating employees and 8 hours per day for operat- ing employees. May be taken as time off, but will be paid out if not taken by March 31. Meal allowance: Reimburse- ment for meal will be paid (ex- cept where free meals are pro- vided) for working more than 3 Probationary period: If employee performs maintenance work: 90 days; 60 days if employee performs production work.
