Ratified on Sept. 22, 2017. Signed on Dec. 1, 2017. Shift premium: $1.15 per hour for shifts starting between 2 p.m. and 4 a.m. Paid holidays: 11 days. Vacations with pay: 2 weeks or 4% after 1 year, 3 weeks or 6% after 5 years, 4 weeks or 8% after 12 years, 5 weeks or 10% after 20 years. Overtime: Time and one-half for first 10 hours worked on Saturday, double time there- after. Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums for company health plan. Pension: Employer will con- tribute $3.75 per hour (previ- ously $2.35 per hour) worked to money-purchase pension plan, on behalf of each full-time and part-time employee who has completed 12 months of em- ployment. If time spent exceeds 2 hours, em- ployee will be paid for all time spent at overtime rate. In addi- tion, employee will receive pay for 1 hour of traveling time Probationary period: 18 months. Uniforms/clothing: Employer will provide 6 dry-cleaning cou- pons for uniforms per year plus 1 jacket, or 1 parka coupon per year to all uniformed person- nel, with the exception of fire prevention officers, academy instructors, public education officers, public-education coordinator, safety and equip- ment officer, platoon chiefs, district chiefs who will receive 14 dry-cleaning coupons per year, plus 1 jacket, or 1 parka coupon per year. Each officer will be provided with 2 sets of rank epaulets to be replaced as required. Recruits will re- ceive initial clothing allocation of 5 flame-resistant shirts or current-issue dress shirts; 1 full-dress uniform consisting of 2 pairs of pants and 1 jack- et; 2 neckties; 1 pair of oxford shoes; 1 winter hat; 1 summer hat; 1 bomber jacket ensemble (new-style); 4 pairs of flame resistant-pants or-current issue pants.
