Pension: Fairmont Hotels Corporation Pension Plan for Unionized Employees at Fair- mont Empress. Employer, em- ployee will contribute 3.2% of earnings up to yearly maximum pensionable earnings, and 5% of earnings over yearly maximum pensionable earnings. Bereavement leave: 5 days for death of spouse, child, father, mother. 3 days for death of mother-in-law, father-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, brother, sister, stepparent, step- child, grandchild, grandparent. Seniority – recall rights: 12 months. Probationary period: 50 ser- vice assignments. Discipline: Sunset clause is 2 years. Hat, coat, trousers for male employees and ap- propriate outer garments for female employees in culinary department will be supplied by employer. Tool allowance: Maximum $350 per year for cook's assist- ants, apprentices, chef de partie, journeyperson cook, electrician, painter, building maintenance, engineer, carpenter, assist- ant-electrician employees.
