Wage adjustments: Effective Jan. 1, 2018: $0.25 per hour Effective Jan. 1, 2019: 1.5% Effective Jan. 1, 2020: 2.5% Shift premium: $0.85 per hour (previously $0.75 per hour) will be paid to employee for hours worked between 5 p.m. and 7 a.m., subject to minimum of 3 hours worked between 5 p.m. and 7 a.m. $0.85 per hour (previously $0.75 per hour) will be paid to employee for hours worked between 5 p.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Monday. Paid holidays: 11 days. Vacations with pay: 0.83 days per month to start, 10 days after 1 year, 15 days after 4 years, 20 days after 8 years, 25 days after 14 years, 30 days after 21 years. Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 8 hours per day or after 32 or 40 hours (maintenance, housekeeping employees) per week. Medical benefits: Employer pays 50% of premiums, employ- ee pays 50% of premiums. Vision: Employer pays 50% of premiums, employee pays 50% of premiums. Sick leave: 1 day per month, maximum 65 days. LTD: Employer pays 50% of premiums, employee pays 50% of premiums. AD&D: Employer pays 50% of premiums, employee pays 50% of premiums. Call-in pay: Regular basic rate for all hours worked or 2 hours at time and one-half, whichever is greater. Probationary period: 780 hours worked. Discipline: Sunset clause is 12 months. Severance: 1 weeks' pay after 3 months of service; 2 weeks' pay after 2 years of service; 4 weeks' pay after 4 years of service; 5 weeks' pay after 6 years of ser- vice; 6 weeks' pay after 8 years of service; 8 weeks' pay after 10 years of service. Tool allowance: $25 per month for maintenance workers. Mileage: $0.58 per kilometre for travel authorized in advance by employer for maintenance employees. $0.53 per kilometre for all other employees trav- elling on approved employer business. There will be no charge to employees for this benefit. FOOD MANUFACTURING Pepsico Beverages Canada Bathurst, N.B. Signed on May 4, 2017. Shift premium: $1.05 per hour for lead-hands. $0.95 per hour for any shift commencing at 2 p.m. or later. Paid holidays: 10 days, plus company will close by 1 p.m. on Christmas Eve. 1 additional floating holiday that cannot be taken during June, July, August, December. Vacations with pay: 2 weeks af- ter 1 year, 3 weeks after 5 years, 4 weeks after 10 years, 5 weeks after 20 years, 6 weeks after 30 years. No more than 2 weeks of vacation may be taken between mid-June and mid-August. Overtime: Time and one-half to plant, warehouse, vending, sales employees for all hours worked after normal work shift or those hours worked in excess of 40 hours per week. Double time after 2 hours' overtime worked in any day. Time and one-half for each hour worked on first extra shift worked be- tween Monday and Sunday, af- ter 40 or 36 hours in same week. Double time for each hour worked on second and third extra shifts worked between Monday and Sunday. May be banked, maximum 80 hours per year. Meal allowance: $12.50 if sales, production employee works in excess of 2 hours beyond regu- lar (8-, 10- or 12-hour) shift. Sick leave: After 1 year of ser- vice, 7 days per year (prorated for employees with 6 months of service). Employees who use 3 sick days or less will re- ceive additional 8 sick hours
