Bereavement leave: 3 days for death in family (spouse, par- ents, children, sisters, brothers, father-in-law, mother-in-law, any relative residing in employ- ee's household, grandparents, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, grandchildren, spouses' grand- parents). 2 additional days for travel more than 500 miles 1-way. Seniority – recall rights: 18 months; 24 months after 10 years of seniority; 36 months after 15 years of seniority. Call-in pay: Minimum 3 hours at regular overtime rate. Probationary period: 90 work days per 12-consecutive months' period. Discipline: Sunset clause is 24 months. In case of layoffs more than 3 months in duration, 24-month period will be ex- tended by duration of layoff. Severance: After 2 years of em- ployment, 2% of total earnings throughout period of employ- ment or throughout last period of employment if employee was formerly employed and rehired. Vacation may be banked and may only be taken immedi- ately prior to retirement. Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after regularly scheduled hours. Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums. Dental: 100% coverage for basic; 50% coverage for pros- thetic appliances, crown and bridge procedures. 50% cover- age for orthodontic services, lifetime maximum $3,250 per family member. Vision: Employer pays 100% of premiums for 100% reimburse- ment, maximum $375 every 2 years. Weekly indemnity: Employer pays 100% of premiums for $700 per week (previously $675 per week) on 1-1-3-26 plan, maximum 26 weeks. LTD: Employer pays 100% of premiums for $2,400 per month, less CPP payments. AD&D: Employer pays 100% of premiums for coverage of $105,000 (previously $100,000). Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums for cover- age of $105,000 (previously Severance: 80 hours' pay for each year of service, maximum 2,080 hours.
