All employees must have worked 40 hours to be eligible for over- time. Meal allowance: Employer will provide hot meal when em- ployees work extended hours in excess of 11 hours. Employer will pay $40 when hot meal is not possible. Medical benefits: Employer will make contributions to Alberta Carpenters and Allied Workers Health and Wellness Plan. Bereavement leave: 3 days for death in immediate family (parents, spouse's parents, chil- dren, siblings, spouse's siblings, grandparents, spouse's grand- parents, spouse). Discipline: Sunset clause is 1 year. Safety shoes: $150 per year (previously $125 per year) for CSA-approved safety boots. Uniforms/clothing: Employer will provide employees, on as-needed basis, with fire-re- tardant coveralls, CSA-ap- proved hardhat, safety glasses, appropriate gloves and other PPE such as disposable cover- alls, respirators and cartridges, rubber boots at no cost to em- ployee. Room service: In room-service department, 15% gratuity will be added to guest's check. 100% of gratuity will go to server. $2.75 per hour (pre- viously $2.50 per hour) gratuity and $2.75 per bag (previously $2.50 per hour) for bell persons. $5.50 for each room cleaned over and above 16 rooms within normal 8-hour shift by attend- ants. Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week. Medical benefits: Employer pays 80% of premiums, employ- ee pays 20% of premiums. Dental: Employer pays 80% of premiums, employee pays 20% of premiums. 100% coverage of basic; 50% coverage for major, orthodontic. Weekly indemnity: 70% of lost daily wages, maximum 3 weeks following initial 3 days lost. AD&D: Employer pays 80% of premiums, employee pays 20% of premiums. Life insurance: Employer pays 80% of premiums, employee pays 20% of premiums for coverage of $40,000 (previously $30,000). Pension: Employer will pay $0.45 (previously $0.40) in year 1 and $0.50 in year 2 for each hour worked by each full-time employee to RRSP established by employee. Bereavement leave: 5 days for death of spouse, parent, child, sister, brother, mother-in-law, father-in-law, common-law spouse. 1 day for death of broth- er-in-law, sister-in-law, grand- parent. Seniority – recall rights: 12 consecutive months. Call-in pay: Minimum of 4 hours' pay at regular straight- time hourly wage rate. Probationary period: 60 work- ing days.
