Ratified on Sept 28, 2018. Signed on Jan. 7, 2019. Shift premium: $2.75 per hour for licensed practical nurses, certified recreation assistants, health-care aides for each hour worked between 3 p.m. and 11 p.m. $5 per hour for licensed practical nurses, certified recreation assistants, health- care aides for each hour worked between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. $2.50 per hour (previously $2 per hour) for general-support services employees for each hour worked between 3 p.m. and 7 a.m. $3.50 per hour (previously $3.25 per hour) licensed practical nurses, certified recreation assistants, health-care aides for each hour worked between 11 p.m. on Friday and 7 a.m. on Monday. $3.25 per hour (previously $3 per hour) will be paid to gener- al-support services employees for each hour worked between 11 p.m. on Friday and 6 a.m. on Monday. $1.25 per hour for licensed practical nurse, on even- ings or night shift from Monday to Sunday, who is responsible for building. $1.25 per hour for employee who assumes duties of higher paid classification. $0.65 per hour for employee who supervises, educates, evaluates students in licensed practical nurse program or another eligible program and provides clinical preceptorship. Paid holidays: 11 days. Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week. Double time for all work after 2 hours of overtime. Meal allowance: One half- hour meal break without pay at employee's option and meal free of charge after overtime of 3 hours or more. Medical benefits: Employer pays 65% of premiums, employee pays 35% of premiums. Employer will provide $350 per year (previously $300 per year) for flexible health spending account for each employee effective April 1 of each year. Dental: Employer pays 65% of premiums, employee pays 35% of premiums. Sick leave: 1.5 working days or 11.625 hours for each full month of employment, max- imum 120 working days or 930 hours. LTD: Employer pays 65% of premiums, employee pays 35% of premiums. Pension: Employees may contribute 4%, employer will match contribution, maximum 3%, to Villa Marguerite and Sprucewood Place Registered Retirement Saving Plan. Bereavement leave: 4 days for death in immediate family (spouse, child, parent, brother- in-law, sister-in-law, mother-in- law, father-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandparent, grandchild, guardian, fiancé, stepparent, stepchildren, step- brother, stepsister, aunt, uncle, niece, nephew. Spouse will include common-law, same- sex relationships). Additional 2 days with pay for extenuating circumstances; further 2 days without pay for extenuating cir- cumstances. Seniority – recall rights: 180 calendar days. Probationary period: 506 hours worked (exclusive of overtime). Discipline: Sunset clause is 2 years. Severance: 2 weeks after 3 months of service; 4 weeks after 4 years of service; 5 weeks after 6 years of service; 6 weeks after 8 years of service; 10 weeks after 10 years of service; 20 weeks after 20 years of service. Safety shoes: $150 once every 2 years for CSA-approved safety footwear. Uniforms/clothing: Employer will provide protective clothing, safety equipment. Mileage: $7 per month for business-use insurance for em- ployees who have automobile that is used in employment.
