is not on shift. $0.50 per hour for employee who relieves gas bar operator for greater than 3 days in 1 week or more; $2 per hour for employee who relieves gas bar operator for 3 weeks or more (premium will take effect at beginning of third week). Paid holidays: 11 days. Vacations with pay: 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 5 years. Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 10 hours on 1 shift or 40 hours in 1 week. Medical benefits: Employer will contribute $0.20 per hour into Safeway UFCW Part- Time Health and Welfare Trust Fund. Dental: Employer will con- tribute $0.43 per hour for each regular hour worked or paid, paid vacations, general holidays into United Food and Commercial Workers dental care plan. Pension: Employee who has worked 3,001 hours will be eligible for maximum 1.5% employer-matched contribu- tion into RRSP. Bereavement leave: Employ- ee will be granted leave of ab- sence without pay, with con- sideration given to travel time to attend funeral for death in immediate family (spouse, parent, stepparent, child, stepchild, brother, sister, mother-in-law, father-in-law, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandmother, grandmother- in-law, grandfather, grandfa- ther-in-law, grandchildren, any relative living in house- hold of employee). Lump sum (year 3 effective Sept. 5, 2021): All active em- ployees will receive: $600 for employees at top rate; $450 for employees averaging 32 hrs+ worked per week; $375 for employees averaging 24 to 31.99 hours worked per week; $275 for employees averag- ing between 0 to 23.99 hours worked per week. Wage adjustments: Effective May 1, 2019: 2.1% Effective May 1, 2020: 2.2% Effective May 1, 2021: 2.4% Shift premium: $4 per hour ($4.50 for Local 506) for all work performed between 4 p.m. and 6 a.m., Monday to Saturday and between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. Sunday to Friday. 10% higher than heav y-equip- ment operator for demolition foreman. 10% higher than journeyperson for HAZMAT foreman. Medical benefits: Employer- funded Local Unions' Em- ployee Benefit Trusts. Pension: Each employer will contribute $0.20 per hour for each hour earned by each employee into Labourers' Pension Fund of Central and Eastern Canada. Employer will contribute $2 per hour worked to Local 1059 for group RRSP. Bereavement leave: Local 527: 3 paid days at rate of $150 per day for death of parent, spouse, child, sibling. Safety shoes: $10 for each calendar month worked. Uniforms/clothing: Em- ployer provides sanitary protective clothing (asbestos, winter- and wet-weather clothing, including rainsuits, sanitary rubber boots), equip- ment, safety helmets, non- prescription safety glasses, gloves, PPE where necessary. Employer will supply fire- retardant protective clothing to torch man. Mileage: $0.55 per kilometre (previously $0.50 per kilome- tre) for personal use of vehicle for employer's projects, plus $15 per hour for travel to and from jobsite. Maximum $18 per day will be reimbursed for parking.
