Paid holidays: 12 days. Vacations with pay: 15 days (with 10 months of service) or 1.5 days per month (with less than 10 months of service) to start, 3 weeks after 1 year, 16 days after 5 years, 17 days after 6 years, 18 days after 7 years, 19 days after 8 years, 4 weeks after 9 years, 5 weeks after 17 years, 6 weeks after 21 years. Effective Jan. 1, 2021: 15 days to start, 16 days after 5 years, 17 days after 6 years, 18 days after 7 years, 19 days after 8 years, 20 days after 9 years, 25 days after 17 years, 30 days after 21 years. Employees with 20 days or fewer vacation en- titlement must take at least 15 days' vacation each year; em- ployees with 25 days or more vacation entitlement must take at least 20 days' vacation in each year. Maximum 1 year's entitlement may be carried over to next calendar year by employee. Balance of vacation bank will be paid out at termi- nation of employment. Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after normal work day; double time after 2 hours of overtime. Double time for all work on employee's days of rest (time and one-half if em- ployee requests to work some or all weekly overtime on rest days instead). May be taken as time off in lieu. Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums for medical services plan, ex- tended health plan. Eligible employees will be entitled to wellness payment, paid to em- ployee on biweekly basis. Dental: Employer pays 100% of premiums. 100% coverage for basic; 50% coverage for prosthetics, crowns and bridg- es, orthodontics. Weekly indemnity: Employee pays 100% of premiums for coverage of 70% of gross wages after 6 days of absence, maxi- mum 26 weeks after first day of leave. Sick leave: One-half day per month, maximum 10 days as health-leave bank. New employees will receive 3 days after 3 months of service. AD&D: Employer pays 50% of premiums, employee pays 50% of premiums for coverage of 2 times annual earnings. Life insurance: Employer pays 50% of premiums, employee pays 50% of premiums for coverage of 2 times annual earnings. Bereavement leave: 3 days for death in immediate family (spouse, common-law spouse, child, stepchild, parents, brother, sister, grandparents, grandchild, stepparent, foster- child, foster-parent, aunt, uncle, niece, nephew, fiancée, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, parents-in-law). 2 additional days for death of spouse, common-law spouse, child, stepchild, foster-child. One- half day to attend funeral as pallbearer. Seniority – recall rights: 1 year for layoffs; 42 months if employee is absent from work because of sickness or acci- dent. Call-in pay: Minimum 2 hours of pay at double time for all hours worked outside nor- mal working hours. Probationary period: 6 months. Safety shoes: $100 per year (previously $65 per year) for work safety boots. Tool allowance: $500 in first year; $200 per year thereafter to all employees in mechanic classifications.
