COLLECTIVE AGREEMENTS COLLECTIVE AGREEMENTS TRANSPORTATION Transdev Services (Canada) Concord, Ont. (306 transit workers) and Amalgamated Transit Union, Local 113 Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 1, 2020 to Dec. 31, 2024. Ratified in July 2020. Signed on Aug. 26, 2020. Wage adjustments: Effective Jan. 1, 2020: 3% Effective Jan. 1, 2021: 2% Effective Jan. 1, 2022: 2% Effective Jan. 1, 2023: 2% Effective Jan. 1, 2024: 2% Shift premium: $0.75 per hour for maintenance employees assigned to night shift that runs through midnight. $0.25 per hour for maintenance employees assigned to after- noon shift that starts after 3 p.m. $1 per hour for drivers attending training booked on day off or training other drivers. $8 if shift is between 5 and 10 hours; $16 if shift is longer than 10 hours. Paid holidays: 10 days. Vacations with pay: 1 day per month of service up to 9 days to start, 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 5 years, 4 weeks after 10 years, 5 weeks after 20 years. Overtime: Time and one-half for time worked in excess of 88 hours over 2-week period (44 hours in 1 week for main- tenance employees). Time and one-half for time worked in excess of 12.5-hour spread. Medical benefits: Employer pays 75% of premiums, employee pays 25% of premiums. Dental: Employer pays 75% of premiums, employee pays 25% of premiums Sick leave: 5 sick days per contract year at 6 hours' pay — if employee is unable to work full day — for employees with 1 year of continuous service. Pension: Employee contributes to RRSP. Employer matches 50% of employee contribution up to 1% of employee's pay and puts into deferred profit- sharing plan. Bereavement leave: 3 paid working days for death of spouse, parent, child, sibling, parent-in-law, grandparent. 1 paid day for death of rela- tive permanently residing in employee's household or with whom employee resides. Seniority – recall rights: Lesser of 12 months or length of employee's seniority after layoffs; 18 months for being absent from work due to accident or illness; 6 months for employee who is promoted to position outside bargaining unit. Call-in pay: Minimum 3 hours' pay for drivers called in and cancelled. Probationary period: 120 calendar days. Safety shoes: $100 per year toward cost of black shoes or boots, which must not have heel higher than 1 inch below level of main sole, as required by Highway Traffic Act. Automotive/truck and coach technicians, maintenance utility employees: $220, rising to $250 on Jan. 1, 2022 and $275 on Jan. 1, 2023. Uniforms/clothing: Each employee will be provided with: 2 pairs of trousers, 5 shirts; 2 ties; 1 Yukon cap; 1 winter parka; and black shoes or low-heeled boots (supplied by employee). New uniforms provided on each anniversary. 3-in-1 winter coat replaced every 3 years. Maintenance employees receive 1 winter coat when they commence employment and every 2 years thereafter. Tool allowance: 310T and 310B mechanics: $750 per year, rising to $800 on Jan. 1, 2022 and $850 on Jan. 1, 2023. 301T apprentice: $525 per year, rising to $575 on Jan. 1, 2022 and $600 on Jan. 1, 2023. Utility/ tire tech/farebox: $325 per year rising to $350 on Jan. 1, 2022 and $375 on Jan. 1, 2023. Paid holidays: 9 days plus Heritage Day (Yukon), Aboriginal Day (Yukon), British Columbia Day (Discovery Day in Yukon). Vacations with pay: 2 weeks or 4% after 1 year, 2 weeks plus 1 additional week or 6% after 5 years of employment. Overtime: Time and one-half for work after 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week; double time after 12 hours of work in 1 day.
